The place is very busy, but somehow they got us seated very quickly and the food came out fast. The atmosphere is sort of a fun, tropical vacation fantasy theme, I guess. Very unusual, and it seems to need a little updating. The bartender said they'll be doing some remodeling in the winter. But, we didn't mind that, since the pizza was great, especially the excellent crust. Oh, and the wings are awesome, too. We'll be back! more

Wonderful atmosphere 12/29/2010

Stopped in with a group for lunch while at the beach. The atmosphere was wonderful. it really captured the feeling and spirit of Virginia Beach. The food was excellent. Great variety. Great taste. The prices were what I would expect on the boardwalk of any beach. I definitely plan to stop by again on my next visit. more

Every time I come to Dough Boy's the staff makes me feel welcome. I am from Richmond, and dine here mostly when I'm in town due to the service and quality of the food. One of my favorites is "Mom's Greek Salad. more

Small and cozy restaurant 10/14/2010

My boyfriend and I frequent there for a date after a walk on the beach or to dine with our friends. It is a cozy and small restaurant that serves the pizzas, the sandwiches, the pastas, and the alcoholic drinks. The theme of this restaurant is Hawaiian, so expect a flower necklace occasionally. It is very inexpensive dining for the oceanfront. Their Alfredo Fettuccine meal is very good that it is my number one order from there and it costs me about seven bucks (I think... it has been a while!). It may be packed during the afternoons and the evenings in the summer time as the tourists visit the area more

We really enjoyed dining at Dough boys 9/27/2010

We really enjoyed dining at Dough boys. Outside the building is bright YELLOW w/ a pirate standing by the door. Inside it looks like your on the islands. Palm trees and bright colors. Lei's for the girls, and lots of tropical flair. We enjoyed this restaurant. They played great island music and the wait staff was very friendly. The girls (Noel and Tiffany) had their usual chicken fingers and fries. They served them on paper plates with bright pink frisbees to hold them. The girls got to keep their frisbees. They of course have the dough boy logo on them. Nice little souvenirs. I had hot wings and celery with blue cheese. Very good. The hot sauce was awesome. I couldn't eat much since I have had the weight surgery, but it was so good, I wish I could have eaten every bite. Noel did eat two of them for me. They advertise alot of tropical mixed alcohol drinks and I was tempted to try one or a couple but I was with the girls and it was the middle of the afternoon..lol We also ordered some cheese breadsticks with maraniade sauce, it was very good. The girls ate all of these...lol more
