Economic quality downtown 6/19/2008

The location is on the edge of the predominant part of downtown, making it a more affordable. This hotel is not connected to the Skywalk, so you'll have to walk outside (be careful if its January :). Easy to get around and enjoy the downtown from this location. more

New Owners 5/14/2003

Just visiting Minneapolis and was told this was a great place for jazz by another hotel concierge. The hotel was recently purchased and the new owners are renovating. Food was great, I had the ""lacquered spare ribs"" that are wonderful. Serice was very good and music was awesome. Very intimate feel when sitting in the booths. Doubletree is Suite 12/7/2002

Stayed here to see the Holidazzle parade. It's right on Nicollet Mall on 11th St, next to Brit's Pub. All of the rooms are suites and are very comfortable and clean. The rooms need a new look, but the staff is wondreful. Awesome fitness room. Pros: indoor parking, friendly staff Cons: older decor more

An Alright Time... 11/10/2002

Unlike the previous ratings, I rate Cafe' Luxx pretty decently. We were there last weekend and thought that the service/food/music was pretty decent. We were seated promptly and our server were pretty attentive. The food was not bad at all although I did think that it was a bit expensive for what you get. The live jazz music with live vocals were pretty good. This is not a crowded/smoky place nor would I consider this as a hot/trendy spot. Overall, it's not bad of a place.
