Double T gives you large portions but the food is really not all that good.

Their food is always excellent, hot & plentiful. I haven't EVER had a meal at the Double T that I didn't finish or have any complaints about! Pros: great taste, great service Cons: always crowded more

Over rated and over priced 11/7/2002

Years ago The Double T Diner was one of the best cheap dining experiences one could find in Baltimore. Fine home style food that made you want to come back. This was largely responsible for the restaurants great success and expansion to other areas around Baltimore. Unfortunately the quality and pricing has suffered as a result and what used to be a regular stop of mine has become just a fond memory. I am happy to see them succeed but saddened to lose the things that made me a fan in the first place. more

That is what I call the Double T diner. It reminds me of herds of cattle being led to their troughs to feed. The food is substandard and one notch above a fast food joint....maybe Pros: large selection, portion Cons: taste, price, creativity more

Double T Diner is one of my favorites! Any time of day, I can go there and have a very satisfying meal. The service is fast, except when they're extermely busy, which is understandable and friendly. I go there everytime I want a good meal at a reasonable to cheap cost. Pros: homemade desserts more

Customer Service ????? 7/10/2002

During the week of July 1st, 2002 I went to the Catonsville location for lunch. While waiting to be seated, I saw two couples and one threesome leave the restaurant. Since I was meeting a business associate for a lunch meeting I asked for a 4 person table. I was told no table was available and they did not know when one would be available. Within 1 minute, a ""grungy"" threesome entered the restaurant and were immediately seated. The most disturbing part of this story is that the person that did not want to seat me was in their 40's and of Greek descent (I assume one of the owners). I will not return to the Catonsville Double T. As a upper middle class caucasian female I have not experienced much discrimination in my life. For whatever reason I now feel as though I am not welcome in this establishment. Cons: poor customer service, noisey, crowded more
