Double Eagle Pawn

These people put the service in customer service! I have always been cheerfully greeted and treated with respect and with courtesy. The very few problems have always been corrected to my satisfaction. I have been going there once or twice a week for over ten years. In all that time and thousands of customers I have only saw one that was disgruntled, there was a mix up and the owner attempted to correct the problem and the man walked out before he could do so. These people are human after all. I recommend them to my friends and family. The owner also contributes ALOT to the community. I could tell you numerous stories of compassion and understanding by this business. Years ago I took charge of two nephews and they wanted a Nintendo game. Their funds were limited so we went to Double Eagle. We had picked out the games and unit and the salesman (a tall dark haired young man who still works there) started throwing in items he knew we needed along extra games. All along he still made sure he met their budget. I still get emotional about how he made their day! They are a great asset to the community and I hope they are around for a long while. I have shopped at Double Eagle Pawn in Deer Park for years and find the experience enjoyable and the staff friendly and well informed. I have never had any bad shopping trips there weather to purchase firearms or just to browse. I send many of my friends there and they also have a enjoyable experience . I will continue to shop there as will my family and friends. more

Double Eagle Pawn in Deer Park is one of the finest pawn shops in the local area. My family has never had a bad experience and in fact we refer people to them every chance we get. \r \r Contrary to one of the previous unfortunate review, we find EVERY STAFF MEMBER to be helpful whether purchasing a firearm or purchasing/selling other items. It is very disheartening when individuals use these forums to belittle and personally attack other people. No matter if the bullets are cheaper or not, comon sense would dictate that if it was such terrible experience the first time one would not go back numerous times. I have gone in the Double Eagle numerous times and have always been treated excellent. They always rush to help you no matter what you are looking for. They also have a huge selection of items, so you can always find what you are looking for. more

I have been to Double Eagle in Deer Park, WA several times and have yet had a good experience there. The help there leaves a lot to be desired! The gal that works up by the front of the store is sick EVERYTIME I go in there. The last time she was coughing and sneezing all over the place, and actually sneezed in her hand and then handed me my change! Good God! Or you can't get her attention to get her to help you....which is fine because I'd rather not be exposed to her anyway! At the other counter is where you find the rude ones! The tall younger guy, he's probably 6'3"" or so, is about the rudest little jerk I've had the misfortune of having try to help me. And there are a couple of others too...but the tall kid is the worst! All you have to do is ask a question as to availability of a product and you can get your head snapped right off!! Thats nice huh! And the fat guy that sits on the stool all the time...he's a pompus know it all! Someone told me he was the owner and I said well he's definitlely full of himself so he must be the owner otherwise an employer would have probably fired him for the way he treats people! The only reason I go into this store is for a quick purchase of ammo for my husband...and actually the ammo is cheaper just down the road if you have time to go to town. Its too bad too because I like the convenience...but its not hardly worth the hassle. I used to shop at this store a lot but things have gotten a lot worse the last couple of months. Half the employees either don't acknowledge you are there, or they treat you like you are bothering them...unless you are buying a gun then you get 3-4 of them swarming you like flies and pressuring you! Really wouldn't recommend this store unless you want to pay high prices and be treated rudely!! I read the other review posted recently and all I can say is he must hit them on a good day cause its not always like that! more

I have had occasion to do business with the above named business. I purchased 1 rifle and 1 shotgun.\r The items I purchased were exactly as described by them. The business dealings I had with them on the phone and over the net were exemplary, \r The person I dealt with was truly a geltleman with class and demeanor. I would highly recommend these people. They were fair , prompt and courteous. The items I ordered arrived promptly and in excellent condition . It is a pleasure finding someone that values customers service and fair dealings.
