Best

This was the alley where I first bowled! Like the other poster said, the wait isn't too long at all. You have a choice between the bumper alley, or the regular. The shoes weren't ...

Worst

The old woman in the bar is one of the angriest people i have ever met in my life! She was incredibly rude to our whole group. It totally ruined what would have been a really fun...

HORRIBLE customer service!!! 10/7/2006

I absolutely can't believe the HORRIBLE customer service "Anna" gave us (snotty and rude!!). After being there a few weeks ago, an employee intentionally decided to screw with our 4 games in the 9th frame. He goes back behind our lane and lifts up the 'catcher', so the lane functionality stops, and the pins keep getting picked up/taken down by the pinsetter. About 10 times of this and we had it. We went to the front desk, where we met the rude "Anna". She refused to refund our money, gave us an incredibly rude attitude (Think of the movie "Clueless", where the girls think they can be rude and get away with it..only Anna was more horse-face looking) and only after speaking with 3 different people there, gave us 4 voucher games. Last night we go back, spend about $40 in drinks (the bartender, Annie, was really rude to us too, for no reason!!) and food for my friend's birthday, *plus* 2 paid bowling games, and then we want to use our 4 free games. Anna (horse-face) is there again (great) and immediately starts giving us attitude, acting like a snot-nosed 17 year old would if she got her Mustang taken away by her dad. She tells us we have to pay for shoe rentals. I tell her that is absolutely obsurd, since the employee last time intentionally screwed our 4 games up, we should not have to pay for shoe rentals. She tells us we have to talk to the bartender (??) about it, very rudely says "HAVE A NICE NIGHT" and walks away. We go to the bartender (Annie) and she is equally rude, blaming us for not having shoes of our own, and that she does not have the "authority" to give us shoes for our free games. I mean, come on. What authority do you need, to give decent customer service, and pick up a few pairs of shoes and give them to us to use?? She told us we have to call the owner in the morning to talk about it. Well, the next day isn't my friend's birthday anymore, and we were all so furious we just left. I would advise not going here if you want good customer service. Both of these people should be fired. more

Fun afternoon 9/16/2005

I guess my age is showing, bowling is not cheap. I remember bowling in high school and spending a few dollars, my DH and 2 young children (preschool age) spent 40.00 to bowl 2 games. Once we got over the sticker shock we enjoyed the day. Double Decker Lanes is a little tricky to find, but the good signs along the way will get you there. The bowling alley is clean and they have small balls at the counter for the smallest bowler. The computer screens are easy to use. We enjoyed the bowling alley and it was worth the short drive to go to a clean nice alley. more

Fun to go with Friends 8/21/2005

We decided to go bowling last night and went to Double Decker Lanes. Last time we went there was 2-3 years ago. We noticed that prices were much higher now. Must be inflation! Nonetheless, we like the place. Good crowd, nice looking girls and we had a good time. El Presidente more

Family Fun 8/12/2005

Double Decker Lanes is a fun place to so spend the afternoon with your family. However, it is expensive. Four a family of 4 to bowl 2 games it is about $35.00. This included shoes. We have also used them for a birthday party. They even give the kids an old bowling pin for their fiends to autograph. Although they are expensive, it is a lot of fun. more
