This shoppe is excellent! The quality of their offerings is beyond dispute, and for incredibly great prices, particularly in, again, considering the quality received... Every person in here is very knowledgeable, excited about their work, and enormously helpful... They know everything about everything when it comes to meats and spices... They do offer, in abundance, many spices that are quite hard to find... Gotta admit it -- I'm hooked! :o) more

Double DD meats in mountlake terrace is the end all be all for BBQ and just plain fun. the former reviews already covered the variety,somewhere in the neighborhood of 3000 sauces marinades and spices. Homemade sausages/brawts in like 40 flavors,deli meat FRESH ,cheeses of all types at prices you cant touch anywhere. the steaks are second to NONE ,you ask how can meat vary from place to place?? doesnt every piece of beef come from common livestock ?? the answer is in the years of experience that goes into the aging of the beef and the skill in which its cut ,noone does this better than Double DD meats. Over the years ive come to expect a good cut of meat from them,i have no doubt its gonna be good, i have never got a bad one EVER!! But the FREE BONUS i get when i go there is the people,they are simply awesome!! I love to tease the people there and they are not afraid to put me right in my place as well (i hate kiss ass ingenuine service) if you give em crap they will give you crap right back :) I LOVE THIS cause its all in fun and shows me they are genuine. the bottom line is the girls at the counter will bend over backwards to help you (and who wouldnt love to see that ;) when i have tough or obscure questions Kim ,Cindy,and Julie are my go to people,Kim is the owner and always has time and a smile for me (and the occasional sassy comment to lift my day) these people are REAL and i trust them with my meat. So dont let a stranger handle your meat!@! Get to know Double DD meats , just stop in for a howdy do ,a smile and a verbal knock upside the head if ya really need one !!! Oh yeah they have some really fun gift items here too ,shirts with great sayings on them ...one i like has a dog riding a horse with a drunk cowboy behind the dog in the saddle ...the caption is "designated driver" LOL. I also got one for my brother a nice 300lb guy ..it says Fat People are Harder To Kidnap!! LOL he LOVES it. In short ,if you dont go see this place your not hurting anyone but yourself. more

I love it. Learned of it from word of mouth and have been going there ever since for my meat. The quality of meat is great & the pricing is reasonable as well. I love the steaks I get from there no matter how I cook it it still come out good, & steaks I get from other places seem to over cook fast on my grill.. I love DD meats more

I would like to say that DD meats is spectacular. I moved here from Kansas City MO, and i find my most favorite BBQ sauce nowhere but K.C. and to my surprise somebody told me that they found some GATES and son's BBQ sauce at DD meats I was most pleased. I cook true K.C. style BBQ and DD meats will have i need from fruit woods to smoke meat to my favorite BBQ sauce. So in closing DD meats is "GRADE A" in my book. Thanks DD MEATS D.R. THE K.C. I lived in Mt.Lk Terrace and heard through word of mouth how great this place was and what a selection they have for the meat lover! Sure enough they have BBQ sauce and marinades from all over, a variety of fresh meats, and great prices. I now live in Bothell and will gladly drive a separate trip to buy my meat here rather than at the local grocery store...this place is a hidden treasure! more

This place is a meat-lover's paradise. And you cannot beat the prices - even at Safeway or Costco. It's worth the drive no matter where you live in the Seattle area. They have the best meat, a full butcher shop, and homemade sausage and lunchmeats. Friendly, courteous, and helpful staff. No lines. And, they have the biggest selection of every brand of hot sauce, steak sauce, and barbeque sauce imaginable. I'm getting hungry just writing this. I'm gonna hop in my car and go pickup some of their homemade pepperoni sticks to cure these munchies! See you all there. more

We have shopped at D&D Meats since I was little...I am now 55 yrs old and I remember one of my brothers working there...they have had the top quality then and still do and they are not over priced...whenever I do a family dinner I do pot roast and by a full one and everyone compliments me on where did you get that roast ...it is fresh and always so tender...so when in doubt of a gift I get gift certificates to help others get started buying from them. they are truly the best anywhere. more

My family has lived in Mountlake Terrace for over 30 years. We love Double DD Meats! They have a fabulous spice and hot sauce selection. If you love this kind of thing, plan to spend awhile. If you are a meat eater, the smell will knock your socks off just walking through the door. I am not a big meat eater but every time I am pregnant, one of the few things I actually want to eat is raw meat. Now, don't get me wrong, I don't indulge in this particular craving but just walking through the door of DD Meats is enough to make me salivate. Love this shop and hope they never leave good ole MLT. more

They will even bag it in separate 1 pound increments for easy freezing. We always stock up when we go there. They also have the largest selection of hot sauces I've ever seen!
