My wife and I bought a house with a renovation loan from the bank. We had Mr. Doty do Repairs to make the house move-in ready and to meet FHA standards so that the house would be approved for the loan. more

This is the third time that I have had the pressure of working with Jeremy Doty and his Company. Last year we had our house painted on the inside. A few monthes later we had him back to replace some damaged wood and paint the exterior. Pros: Professional Company All The Way more

Just had Doty's Painting and Construction Renovate and Paint the Interior and Exterior of our home in Germantown. They were very professional in all areas. The owner and crew exceded our expectations. They showed up everyday and completed the projects as scheduled. I hired these men to remodel my kitchen. I could not be happier. They are very pleasant to work with and had great ideas to help me with the design and colors. Very pleased with what they did and will, for sure, call on them when I have a need again. Pros: I trust them completely!!! Cons: Can't think of any more

This company has completed numerous home improvements for me. Each time the work has been completed in a timely manner and with great results. Painting has been phenominal. One of the painters is incredible at faux finishes. The owner has always been great at helping me with colors and finishes. I will return to them again and again. Pros: Professional and timely more

My experience with Doty's was similar to that of boardman12. Like him, we made the mistake of paying these characters before the job was finished. The owner told me on the phone that he would not consider depositing our check until we were happy. After that, I couldn't get him to call us back, and the check was deposited two days later. Moreover, their prep work was shoddy. Consequently, only a couple of months after the job was finished, I had to go back and redo part of it. It was definitely an unpleasant learning experience. I had my complete Interior and Exterior Painted by Doty's Painting and Construction. They did an amazing job. Jeremy helped me pick out several of the interior colors that turned out better then I could have imagined. They do an ""okay"" job but have no integrity in conducting business. I overpaid him $100.00 and got the run around and all sorts of lies about the refund - accountant was going to send it to me, wife put check in the mail yesterday, I will bring you the money, must have got lost in the mail, etc. Never got my money. He told me I was being petty over such a small amount of money. I guess he can say that since it wasn't his refund. I have used them twice but will never again. I hope it was worth the hundred dollars to him. This spring getting the whole inside painting. I sure he could have made a small fortune. Cons: Dishonest and deceptive more

Three Nice young men and there dad.Along with gentlemen they have trained to do it right.They have done a TON of work for me and my clients(in town and out of town). Everyone comes away happy and impressed. I had to write something on here when i saw something bad about them.I can't see why anyone would write something bad about them.However there are alot of unreasonable people in Memphis that i've run across also(everybody wants something for free). Pros: Great at suade and they do more than paint. Also very timely.Show up when they say,do what they say Cons: NONE when you see an awsome paint job in a restaurant/anywhere They did it Or fixed it. more

They did a great job on our houses. They did stuff that we didn't even expect.Everyone was very professional.The crew was very funny.I could have done without some of the funny noises ,but We just chuckled it off. I would rather them be in good spirits than have them fighting and argueing.Overall much better than any other crew we have hired.They have great taste too! Josh the crew leader was very sweet and took care of everything.We left our house to them (on the second house) while we went out of town,And that is the way to go.Very trust worthy and they actually got it done alot faster that way.PERFECT ! These guys did a couple of jobs for us, they did good work on the 1st job, but 2nd was not such a good experience. They left a mess of paint in the house on the floor that was not cleaned up. But the big thing was when they were close to being finished with the last job, we paid them (Big Mistake with any contractor - our bad). We were short some of the supplies necessary to complete the job and didn't want to make them wait a week for their pay. So we paid them and said we would call them when the supplies got in to finish the work - they agreed. It then got real difficult. A week later when I called to tell them the supplies were in and to ask when they could come back out they told me they would call back later that day when they got back to the office - NO call. I had to keep calling several times, finally when I caught up with them, I told them that I felt that I was being put off they told me that indeed was the case, they were putting me off. Saying, after we had paid them, that they didn't think they should have to finish the job without more money. Pros: OK work....check prices closely though Cons: Untrustworthiness, clean up more

these guy's are terrible and can not be trusted.they came in and automaticly went everywhere and started looking through my stuff and then i had one guy that kept asking me for some side work.then there are missing items.not to ... more

I could not be more pleased with the job this company has done. Pleasant ,professional, and fast.I have had them totally remodel the inside of my house.Fixtures, sinks, counter tops, carpet, tile ,and hardwoodfloors.They also faux finished and painted the entire inside of my house walls and trim.They just finished the outside brick and all, also they do shutters that are amazing.i have had so much trouble in the past with other companys and know with out a doubt these guy's are the best.Thanks again! Pros: they do so much more than paint.painting is the easey part for them. Cons: they have one crew member that smokes but the boss knocked that off real quick more
