DON'T GO HERE! The owner overworks and underpays their staff! They take advantage of under aged kids and only have their own best interests in mind!\r
They were being investigated by animal control because they were overworking one of their retired horses. They drive over the snow around the paddocks instead of plowing! Which is very dangerous because the packed snow will eventually turn to ice through out the winter and horses can slip and break their legs or clients/staff might be bringing in one of the horses and slip under the horse like I did when I worked there!\r
They had me bring in 32 horses, give them hay first, then grain, top off the horses water buckets and sweep the barn isle! They expected all of this to get done with in a two hour time frame! That's a lot of work for anyone to do, never mind in that small amount of time. There were three horses who actually lived outside all year round and I would have to fill a bucket of water from an outdoor water spout and then try to carry the bucket of water out to the horse without spilling any of the water because if I spilled any water on the path it would make the path even more slippery!\r
I got paid all of $15 for all of my hard work! Every week I would get my check and it would only be $30 for the two days I worked! This woman saw nothing wrong with paying me by the day instead of by the hour, even if I was going by her two hour time frame, she STILL would be paying me UNDER minimum wage. Which was $8 an hour! Don't go to this stable and support this woman's harsh ways! \r
