Dora's Place

INCREDIBLY rude. I called her to see if she accepted Bridesmaid's dresses for consignment. (The answer is no.) I don't mind being told that, but I do mind poor customer service. She mentioned that bridesmaid dresses don't look like formal gowns/prom dresses. This dress VERY much does. I mentioned that ""oh, this dress is actually pretty decent!"". Her response? ""Well, that's what everyone says and then they don't sell."" EXCUSE ME? When I called her out on her customer service (or lack of) she insisted she had another customer, she couldn't hear me, and that she didn't know of anyone in the area that accepted consignments on Bridesmaids dresses. A vintage shop sounds lovely to check out, but I will NEVER go into this woman's shop based soley on this phone call. more

I'm a college student and I'm pretty into the whole vintage thing, which can get a little pricey at times. Dora's place was great. I was the youngest person in the store, but there were some great clothes that just needed a little altering for my taste. Dora dropped the prices for me, and I walked out with two skirts for $18. She was so sweet, and I could totally see myself going back to look at their jewelry and new finds. more

Love this place. Dora is the best very nice and reasonable. Pros: Great finds and you can sell!! more
