Best

The clam chowder at Doogers is the best. Better than anybodys

Worst

Long waits for food and when it did come, the food was abysmal. Fish & Chips consisted of four tiny 2" nuggets of fish and generic fries.

Best in town and not only for seafood 4/15/2011

What an incredible experience, from an amazing greeting (later learned to be the owners) a waitress (Ashley?) that, I kid you not, was the best server we have ever encountered, (made our kids feel like royalty), and some of the best small town fare ever. Four different people recommended this restaurant and we certainly couldn't have been more pleased. Keep up the good work Dooger's, We can't wait to return. more

Best alfredo i've ever had! 8/17/2010

So i know the prices may seem a bit high for a place whos interior decor. reflects that of an old rundown beach shack, or that the small ""not worth the price"" portions are well, not worth the price; I still would have to say that trying their ""Dungenous Crab Alfredo"" is a must. Served along side a slice of buttery garlic bread, and a decent sized shell-less crab leg, this dish of creamy fettuchini alfredo w/ shreds of mouth-watering crab meat is well worth a trip to Seaside, OR. more

Don't waste your money. 10/11/2008

All in all a horrible experience. To begin with, four of us sat down to a table with only two place settings. we didn't get more silver wear until we asked for it after our meal had arrived. that's not even to mention the fact that on of the spoons on our table was dirty and STILL HAD OLD FOOD ON IT! Pros: none that I could see Cons: small portions, big prices, bad food, OVERALL HORRIBLE more

I had the calamari and couldn't have been more dissapointed. I think was prepared from frozen rather than fresh. I have eaten a lot of seafood in my time and believe me when I say you would be better off going to the Safeway up the street and buying a box of Gorton's fish sticks. my girlfriend had the chicken stir fry which looked a lot like a lean cuisine entre and didn't taste much better. Then after suffering through a dismal meal, We were presented with a check I would have expected to see at an upscale gourmet restaurant. I felt it was EXTREMEMLY over-priced. Do yourself a favor and just keep walking when you see this restaurant, Girtle's is a couple of doors down and has much more to offer. Pros: none that I could see Cons: small portions, big prices, bad food, OVERALL HORRIBLE more

Still The Place To Eat at Seaside 7/20/2008

I've been to Dooger's three times now and still have not found a better restaurant in Seaside. It's prices absolutely reflect an upscale restaurant because it is with a comfortable ambiance. Whether nicely dressed or in a t-shirt and flip flops all are welcomed. As to the previous review, the menu (including all the prices) are listed in the window, so there are no suprises. It sounds to me that some one from Girtles is threatened by the competition. Pros: casual or dressed up welcomed, delicious food Cons: portions could be a bit bigger for the price more
