I called Donovan Equipment for a quote on a truck body and spring work, and they were very prompt to get back to me with a price. The price was very reasonable. I checked some competition beforehand, and Donovan gave me a better figure, and the piece of equipment was higher quality than their competitors. That's my reason for going with them. Their work was done according to the plans specified, and I'm pleased with the product. more

Donovan Equipment Co installed a dump body in a used chassis truck for me. Overall, they did a pretty good job. There are a few things that didn't get taken care of, but I have called them back. The biggest problem I had with them is communication. The salesman was supposed to give me some calls ahead of time and he failed to do so, that prolonged the project. The ironic part is that he told me that the spring department, another department I was going to deal with under the Donovan umbrella, were are less than personal. Those are issues they need to address. I had pretty high hopes that things would go well. I ordered tool boxes they recommended and when I looked inside there was no specialty mat, as in the showroom. The other thing is that the truck was supposed to be ready by Memorial Day and it wasn't ready until a week later. It's not a big deal but I would have appreciated a call to let me know. The sales man wasn't the least bit in terested in what I had to say. When they were trying to get a deal with me they were like my long lost buddies and when all was done they didn't call me themselves anymore, the billing lady would be the one I would talk to. It's no big deal but it makes me feel like I'm not a customer worth giving time to. The pricing was another thing that threw me off. The quote for the job was $600 and when I got the bill it was over $1300. It was a very generic total, it was not an itemized bill. Overall, the body was great but there were a lot of things that left me scratching my head. This was my first experience with Donovan Equipment Co. I found them through the plow manufacturer's website. They were good on the phone and the price was right. They helped to make the scheduling convenient, so I could bring my Jeep to them. They had never worked on a Jeep Wrangler with this type of plow before. I had to stay an extra two hours for them to finish the job. I have recommended them to others already. more

I ordered an Iroquois truck body and plow from Donovan Equipment Co Inc.. They order the Truck body out of a little factory in Vermont. My only feedback would be to keep about 1-10 Iroquois bodies in stock, or ready to ship because the delivery took a lot longer than I expected. The installation, the paint prep and the paint job were all very professional. The personnel is very helpful and are really good people. more

Hello This is our 8th godwin dump body we have purched thru donavans and have been satified with all there work. They have an excelent company. They have also done other work in plows. spring and front end alignment on all our trucks. This time on our 2011 chev dump there was a lake of communication between the sales and service where three things were not done correctly. I went down before the work was started to make sure it was clear what needed to be done. They were that the cut out for the window was not the same as it was with all our other trucks and to other electrical problems were not working. When i brought it to there attention they said they would fix it whitch is good and fine with me. the problem there was no attemt to compensate us for the time and expence getting to and fro from our shop an hour away.If i was not clear on what we wanted i would have understood but this time it was clear that things could have been done better. I used Donovan Equipment Company to install a new plow on one of my company's vehicles. They were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, and also speedy. I had an appointment, and since I was driving in from out of town, they knew I would be there waiting until the work was done. As a result, they took me right in and made me a priority. After my experience, I definitely recommend them for not only installation, but also for yearly maintenance. They deal with a lot of heavy equipment, and will do a fast, professional job. I spent over 50,000 on truck bodies with this company. After 6 months bodies paint starting chipping off. Company did not stand by their poor work. Then offered to pay half of only one body to be repainted. I said fine then when it came time to pay they are refusing.
