Honestly the worst I have ever eaten. Hard very very hard dry really dry not a good taste. Horrible! more

I just love their cookies but my favorite is the macademia nut shortbread cookies - melt in your mouth delicious...I always stop by for a tub full of them ...and always place a yearly order when I'm home for the holidays! more

As a military brat I went to high school in Hawaii and was introduced to Hawaiian shortbread cookies via the school cafeteria. They were absolutely wonderful. I have tried many, many shortbread recipes trying to duplicate the flavor and texture of the cafeteria cookies. No luck until a return trip to the islands 45 years later. I discovered Donna's Shortbread Coolies at a Long's Drugstore in Hilo and I was immediately back in high school. No recipe, but I had my cookie back. Donna's Bakery makes several types of cookies. All are great, but the shortbread cookies are the BEST. I have shared this treat with a number of friends and they are now all addicted. If you are headed to Hawaii, check out the local grocery stores and Long's drugstore. Each usually has a supply of snack packs (4-6 cookies) and a large tub. more

I'm not a coconut fanatic, but these cookies are amazing! They're light and crisp with the light flavor of toasted coconut. I was addicted from the very first bite! Before I left the big island I looked everywhere for more to take home with me. I just wish I could find a website to order them. Trying the coconut cookies is a MUST! more

My sister and I stopped to buy a snack at a market and luckily for us, there was no parking in front of the market. We parked in front of Donna's and were drawn inside by the aroma. We discovered the best cookies either of us had ever had. A year later my wife and I came back to Hawaii and during our one week visit, we polished off two large tubs of cookies and a couple of small packets. I need to call to see if they ship to California. more

Donna's Cookies in Paauilo makes wonderful cookies that melt in your mouth. They make a variety of cookies that are very buttery and tasty. You can choose from their shortbread, macadamia nut, peanut butter, sprinkled, potato chip cookies. They sell cookies direct from their store in Paauilo or you can buy their cookies in retail grocery stores such as KTA, Longs Drug Stores and other small grocers around the island. They sell their cookies in small packages or in a large container with an assortment of cookies. more

These cookies are absolutely delicious! You can buy these cookies straight from the distributor which is Donna's Cookies in Paauilo. I usually buy the large container of assorted cookies that run about $9.00 for each container when I visit my family and friends in Honolulu. The cookies also make great gifts to put in gift baskets for Christmas. You can also buy the cookies in small plastic bags if you want to try the individual cookies such as shortbread, macadamia nut, peanut butter, cookies with spinkles, and other flavors. more
