I was extremely well pleased with the plumber from Don Wood Plumbing sent to repair a toilet. He was helpful, knowledgeable, very polite and did a great job. He arrived on time and was expert at solving the problem. His repairs fixed the problem and his suggested repairs made it work like new or even better for a reasonable rate. more

HORRIBLE! 1/13/2013

I scheduled Don Wood Plumbing to come out for a simple job. I knew I would need to take off several hours from work, so I asked them to set me up for any day they could be there first thing in the morning. On the scheduled date, they showed up to my house at Noon. The plumber looked like he was high on drugs.\r \r He did the job sort of, leaving the pilot light off and not bothering to put the door back on the crawl space. He was there less than two hours, and tried to charge me $375 to attach a gas cooktop to the already plumbed gas line. Even though I was quoted $80 for the first hour, $50 per additional hours, he tried to make up a B.S. story about a "fixed price."\r \r I tried over and over to resolve the issue amicably with them, but they had my check and basically told me to pound sand. Too bad for them I put a stop payment on the check. It took several months and litigation to get Don Wood to admit they grossly overcharged me.\r \r What a shame. I used to be a regular customer more

DO NOT USE!!!! 4/6/2011

Don Wood is a crook and will screw people over how ever he can. I know for a fact the he handed out a paper to his employees asking them to get on and put good reviews because he only had 5 and 3 of the 5 were bad so be careful when u read the good ones because they make be fake just to make him look better. He has employees on the job who have failed drug test and he fires the ones that pass. I can prove everything I am saying is true. He back charges all his employees for a job if something is messed up rather than use his own insurance so that away he can double his money. If you dont agree to a back charge which is illegal he will fire you. With the exception of about 5 plumbers there the rest and drug addicts and drunks so I wouldnt take my chances on using them for anything. more

Now when I lay back for my bath I enjoy looking around the room. They went out of their way to help me find all the pieces I wanted to have the bathroom of my dreams. more

I've called Don Wood Plumbing for a couple of different jobs. They were very thorough in diagnosing and fixing the problems. Each problem has been fixed to my satisfaction by a knowledgeable plumber. Their prices are very reasonable. I would recommend Don Wood Plumbing to a friend. more

Extremely satisfied 2/2/2011

Superb service!!! I called Don Wood Plumbing and they gave me a two hour time frame. They showed up in the scheduled time frame and had the parts on hand to repair my leak. Their technician was very knowledgeable and gave helpful suggestions. He had the problem fixed beyond my satisfaction and the price for the repair was VERY reasonable. They have all my future business and I would refer them to anyone. more

Terrible!\r \r Says one thing and does another.\r \r Had the nerve to tell me the problem would be covered under warranty, only to bill me a month after the work was completed.\r \r CAME OUT, DIDN'T HAVE A PART AND CAME BACK WITH THE PART... CHARGED ME FOR TWO TRIPS WITHOUT EVEN ME KNOWING I WAS GOING TO BE CHARGED FOR ANY TRIPS. \r \r WILL USE OTHER PLUMBER NEXT TIME.\r \r DON'T CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS. more

Never showed up for a scheduled appt. with 1 day notice 7/17/2009

I took of work to meet them, they set a 2 hour window to show up. 3/4 of the way through that time frame, I called and they said they would have to call me back. They did and said they were running late and they would come when finished. I called back an hour later and they said they were going to another appt. and would be over as soon as they finished. They called back about an hour later and said they would come by later the next morning.\r \r I schedule the service the morning before for the next afternoon. They said the ""Boss"" told then to take the other ""emergency calls"" before my schedule appt.\r \r I doubt that! Pros: Cheap hourly rates Cons: Never showed up more

Great service 11/27/2005

This is a great plumbing company. It is locally owned and the owner, Don Wood, is a genuinely nice person. They will quote you a price that is very fair and that is what you will be charged. If it is an emergency, which is has been, they will get someone out to you immediately. Their office persons are also very knowledge and if you call needing to ask a question about a problem, they usually can help you. I would recommend them to anyone. more
