would not recomend this dealer poor service no follow threw and sale manager/ manager i worthless bought a car with non working odometer and bald tires they repalced tires but wouldnt fix anything else i owned the car for a day and had to make 3 trips out there to get tires also services performed on car were not done properly wouldnt recomend this place to anyone more

Bad Used Car Deal 5/31/2012

Purchased a used vehicle from Don Jenkins Ford a couple of months ago. We had concerns about noises coming from under the vehicle and were assured their service department would check it out before we signed the papers. We were told the vehicle had been checked out and no problem found. Well...within 3 weeks after taking possession of the vehicle, we were out $1,000 trying to get this problem fixed. No answer to my email to the dealership. We believe the vehicle was misrepresented and were extremely disappointed. Would NEVER recommend this dealership. more

Had a bad experience buying a used 5/25/2012

Had a bad experience buying a used vehicle from them. Noise detected during test drive was to be checked out by mechanic. We were assured this was done, but within a week of taking possession of the vehicle, we were into what amounted to over $1,000 in repairs. I believe we were misled as to this vehicle's condition and were very disappointed in our purchase. We will never go back to this dealership and will certainly steer any friends away from there. more

We just bought a 2011 Ford Fusion at Don Jenkins and it was a great experience. We also bought our last car (2008 Edge) there and will continue buying cars from them. No in your face salesman pressure just friendly and knowledgeable people. The owner even gets involved to make sure you get the best deal around! The salespeople,administrative and service people are all very friendly and helpful. They compared prices and made sure we got all the rebates and best options for the price which we really appreciated. It is comforting to have a good dealer to go to. We highly recommend you drive to Fuquay Varina to check out Don Jenkins Ford and ask for Bob Jenkins or Dave.. more

New 2010 Fusion Hybrid 11/11/2010

I have purchased many vehicles over the years from many different car dealers and have learned the hard way to always read the contract and never rely on what any person tells me. After purchasing four vehicles from Don Jenkins Ford I can attest to the fact that what was said and what was in the contract are the same. The last two or three vehicles I purchased there I dealt with the salesman Terry Stroud who has always been top notch in helping me choose vehicles that met my needs. They do not use high pressure sales tactics and you get a fair deal. more

Great SERVICE Department 10/31/2010

Great Service Department. Bring my Mercury here ONLY. For the past 3.5 years I have only done business with them. Never tried to sell me something I did not need. Always take me as a walk-in with very reasonable wait time. Only Ford Certified Technicians for my car! The prices are competitive, and I even get my Annual DMV certificate here. No problems and the guys are nice. Highly recommend. more

Great SERVICE Department 10/31/2010

Love the Service Dept. I have been here for 3.5 years with my Mercury. They have never tried to sell me service I didn't need. Even recommended against me trying to buy tires before they were really needed. No problem being a walk-in and having a very reasonable wait time. I go here for every oil change and all maintenance. Ford Certified Technicians are all I will have on my car. No problem with my Annual DMV inspections either. I really am happy with these guys.\r L S in Fuquay Varina more

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH DON JENKINS FORD 7/9/2010

Where do I start....\r \r I purchased a used 1997 Ford F350 with a Brand new motor from Crossroads in Wake Forest. The engine had a 3 year / 36K warranty from Ford. Don Jenkins refused to honor that warranty. I took it to Crossroads in Cary for warranty work. \r \r Did I learn my lesson, NO. Since they are a mile from house I gave them another opportunity. I took the vehicle in for the yearly inspection. They immediately called and said it would not pass. In fact, they said that it was too dangerous to drive off the lot. So, I had them repair. Ouch! To the tune of $900+ to repair ball joints. The engine developed an exhaust leak, what did I do? I took it them to resolve since the engine was out of warranty. Not only did they NOT fix the leak, they called and told me that my steering linkage was so bad that it could break at any moment. What did I do, I had them fix it to the tune of $1200 with the expense of the SHODDY exhaust manifold work. I fixed that myself with $6 copper RTV, now its whisper quiet.\r \r So, another year another inspection for the truck. I get a call 20 minutes later from good ole boy, Coy. ""Sir"", he says that truck will never pass inspection. The power steering is leaking. Having just painted the power steering box, I KNOW its not leaking but is nice a shiny. I am on to them now after sooooo long. I informed Coy that I need to confirm that leak with another mechanic. That’s when the customer service went south also.\r \r What did I do, I took it to a trusted local mechanic who confirmed that there was nothing wrong with that steering box. As a matter of fact, he went over the entire truck and said it should pass with flying colors.\r \r I would like to warn EVERYONE that Don Jenkins Ford in Fuquay Varina runs a dishonest and unethical business in their service department. They intentionally find non-issues and exploit them which usually cost several hundreds of dollars. \r \r Unless you have a Ford vehicle under warranty and it’s an emergency, I would not even consider those crooks. Take you vehicle to Crossroads or Capital Ford. If it is not warranty related, visit a local mechanic who can be trusted. Don Jenkins Ford needs to go out-of-business NOW. Typical Sales BS 6/11/2009

Purchased used 2008 Sable at a fair price. When I test drove car the mats were flipped to keep clean. When I picked the car up the driver side mat was for the wrong vehicle. Salesman didn't ""notice"" until I pointed it out. I had already paid for the car. Salesman said he'd find one for me. I called a couple of times, he didn't seem to know what vehicle I purchased, said he had checked though. No offer to provide new mat, even at cost. I have bought several cars from Don Jenkins Ford over the last 25 years. If ever my car needed service, I was always given a loaner car. The staff are very friendly, a real person actually answers the phone which isn't the case in a lot of instances these days. I would not buy a car from any other dealership. Yvonne T. more

My car had two problems from the factory, they couldn't find the cause of either. I had to take my car in, then go back and get it and wait for parts. I was told two days. It took two weeks just for the parts. Then two more days while they worked on it. Plus the repair didn't fix the problem. Very poor service. more

Amazing Service 10/28/2005

This is a wonderful dealership to deal with! Bought our vehicle from them last year, and there was a factory problem with our vehicle. The service department bent over backwards to get the issues resolved, loaner cars were never a problem to get.
