Dennis remodeled my floors in my kitchen and all 4 bedrooms, plus i got whole new fence and deck. I am beyond satisfied with everything. He is a great business man and his work speaks for himself. I saw the other reviews that were negative and decided to take a chance for myself, and man am I glad that i did. I never had any problems financially with him at all. The work was done and completed a week earlier than it was suppose too. I will definitely recommend him to all of my friends and anyone that wants to have work done on their house. His work literally speaks for itself and I get compliments all the time from my neighbors and my family and friends that come and visit. He made me fall in love with my property all over again. more

I had Dominion Fences & Decks replace a fence for me. It came out beautiful. They also use 3-rails instead of just 2 rails like other companies do. I was so impressed with the quality of work, that I hired Dominion Fences & Decks again to put in ceramic tile in my downstairs living, dining, kitchen, family room, bathroom and upstairs bathrooms. My house looks wonderful. They did a great job and I have gotten nothing but compliments from neighbors, friends and anybody that has ever come in to my house I would highly recommend this company to anyone. more

More than 6 years ago, Dennis Rampersaud and I divorced. At that time, I dissolved our mutually owned company Dominion Fences & Decks in Bexar County, TX. The company does not exist any longer.\r \r Up until today, I have received countless letters, phone calls, and visits from people trying to get in contact with Dennis. All of them have very similiar stories. If they are a customer of his, they explain that he has started work and not finished, but collected all of their money and is now nowhere to be found. If they are a supplier, they will tell me that he has purchased something and written a bad check for it. \r \r You may wonder how they are getting my information, well, its simple. He is giving it to them as contact information. On everything he gives them, it has my home address, phone number, and contact information. These people mistakenly believe that I have something to do with this man's mess. Today for example, I received a call from Austin Wholesale Decking. He bought material from them and wrote them a bad check. They wanted me to cover it. I don't think so.\r \r I am tired of explaining over and over again that we are divorced and his bad business practices are not my responsiblity. The threats of collection companies and attorneys are just getting old.\r \r I have tried reporting his activities to the proper authorities. They do nothing, so I am warning everyone here, please for your own sake...stay away from him. He is bad news!\r more

We were taking bids to have an old chain link fence replaced with cedar privacy fence. Found Dennis Rampersaud and Dominion Fences & Decks through Angie's List and gave him a ring for an estimate. After we met, we researched him and his company rather extensively and were impressed with his website. Despite all negativism said about him out there in the cyberspace, we hired Dennis for the job. Dennis gave us competitive price, listened to what we needed and completed what he started in the time frame: built 6-foot fence with 3-hinged gate in the back, two more gates on both sides of the house; additionally I asked him to build a fence between our neighbors' and our back yard because I liked it so much; replaced some damaged and rotten boards on our tool shed and installed a new steel door. Needless to say, I am very picky: on several occasions I requested some of the pickets from the fence to come out and replaced with better ones; Dennis personally removed one of the hinges and put it back on because I did not like how the bolts were placed. Dennis was very patient and tolerant to my suggestions and critics; never said 'no' except when I asked if he wanted any down payment. He purchased all the materials including the steel door, brought it to my house, installed, and got paid at the end. We worked everything out, from start to finish, with mutual trust and I can honestly say that I gained a friend. more

We had Dominion Fences & Decks enclose our yard with a 6 ft cedar privacy fence. The owner Dennis Rampersa did everything he told us he would do when he said he would do it, The fence was 100% Cedar and the fence boards were a true 1X6. Dennis also builds a stronger gate with 3 hinges per gate where the others only use 2. Dennis was a pleasure to work with and his product is exceptional!! more

Dennis has ripped off many folks- he starts jobs and never finishes. He did a privacy fence for my mother and never finshed and had the nerve to ask for more $$. Buyer beware- I heard he is affilaited with Cornerstone Church. He learned from the biggest scammer around, Pastor Hagee hiself. I don't think Jesus intented for his preachers to live in a multi million dollar home. Shame on you! Cons: Professional Con Man more

All we asked for was to have our flowerbed redone. Dennis, the owner, gave us a fair quote and was very friendly. He had his guys come out and they did a great job on the retaining wall. It took a couple weeks for Dennis to come back to finish the flowerbed due to weather and other circumstances, but just be patient with him. He finished the job and it looks amazing!!! Pros: Great job on retaining wall, + high quality mulch/topsoil Cons: doesn't return calls promptly more

Started job, left untouched for weeks then work a day and asked for more money, said it wasn't included. As general contractor didn't supervise workers, didn't return phone calls, won't stand behind work. A 12 week job is now 12 months and still unfinished Cons: Abandons jobs, incompetent work more

Company required upfront money to purchase materials. The check was cashed however the material was never delivered and company eventually abandoned the project. After months of trying to mediate situation and no return phone calls from owner. We are now pursing legal action.\r \r Also, owner provided an estimate, he was hired based off this estimate, however after project was completed ( several months later). Owner wanted additional money due to increase material cost and taxes. He claimed these costs were not included in original estimate although his contract stated that the price agreed upon was his final price, which included everything. -------Beware!!!!!!! Cons: Requires Upfront money, Days to weeks between work, No cleanup, does not complete job more
