My two stays, one four nights, one one-night, were a mixed bag. They have some really wonderful nurses there. Very friendly, warm, proactive, on the ball.\r
\r
Some of the night staff leave more to be desired: aids that weren't gentle with things like catheters, flipping lights on at night, not friendly.\r
\r
Biggest problem, NOISE. During the day, people were in the court yard with kids yelling and it bounced off the walls everywhere.\r
\r
At night the staff made absolutely NO effort to hush their voices or be quiet at all. There were computers in the hallways by patient doors and staff would have conversations there at all hours. They wouldn't keep the door shut even when asked to, as there was not always good communication between shifts, etc. Things promised (like crutches or a fan) not always delivered.\r
\r
With some exceptions, the food is bad.\r
\r
I was hot and sweating and sick after my surgery and they didn't have a fan to put in my room.\r
\r
However, I have to say the administration was very responsive to my feedback and really seemed to care, so hopefully this will all improve.
Pros: They have some excellent staff
Cons: Noisy
