Honest shop 7/8/2013

I was having problems with my 2008 Toyota Sienna, so I shopped around for a transmission shop. Every shop I went to quoted me a price of $2500 and up. I then went to Dolphin and he was able to repair my transmission for $850. I must say Dolphin was the only honest shop out here. Thank God I found them. more

Friendly, Honest, and Competent Service 7/20/2011

After getting a $2,600 estimated repair bill for transmission fixes for my 2000 Passat from the dealership, I decided to try Dolphin Transmission. They diagnosed a water leak which was causing my transmission control sensor to malfunction. They fixed the water leak, dried the transmission control sensor and saved me over $2,300. Separately, the VW dealership quoted $1,500 to replace my timing belt. The crew replaced the timing belt and other parts for much less. Friendly, honest, and competent service. more

These Guys Were Great 7/14/2011

I had a problem with the transmission on my Mazda MPV. I took it to the dealership. They said that I needed to replace the transmission. I asked for an explanation why and was not given very good information on what the problem was. When pressed for an answer, the service consultant said that they would not diagnose the problem with the transmission -- rather they identified that there was a problem and the solution was to replace the entire thing, which I was told would cost $4,700. A day later I was told the price was $3,700. Rather than have the dealer fix the transmission, I took the car to Dolphin Transmissions and they figured out that my transmission was fine. There was a problem with the transmission control module, which they replaced for thousands less than the dealership. The guys at Dolphin were great. They did what they said they would do and the cost was reasonable given the magnitude of the problem. more

Best Transmission Rebuild/Repair in Brooklyn 7/13/2011

I love going to Dolphin because they make everything so easy. Work is always done to accommodate your schedule and pocketbook, without sacrificing quality. I felt confident in having them rebuild my transmission, and have no regrets about going there. Definitely the best transmission repair in Brooklyn. more

I brought my 2001 Toyota 4-Runner to Dolphin Transmissions after another transmission shop messed it up. My A/T temp light was on for 2 years and nobody could fix it. Dolphin fixed the problem in 2 days and my car has never worked better. Thank you Dolphin!!! more
