I was even concerned that he was too down to earth. After he stated that they do free diagnostics, I went straight to the shop and met Ray in person. He was very professional and very informative. Took my car right in, performed a diagnostic, told me what was wrong and said that my tranny definitely needed to be repaired. He also stated that my torque converter might be shot but that he wouldn't know until they performed a different test. Anyway, skipping ahead, he gave me a quote for repair costs and the cost was acceptable to me. But I told him that I will like to do the repair but couldn't that same day. Since I needed the car (the car was half working). At which he said that he would get me a rental from the local Enterprise at no cost to me. Just awesome! Isn't this the best customer service or what I was thinking? more

My wife who 7/15/2014

My wife who was with me thought the same. Of course I agreed to do the repair. He promised that it would be ready by 3pm the next day. Fast forward and the car were done by 2:45pm on the day promised. The experience was painless and I for sure recommend these guys. more

I have an Acura 7/7/2014

I have an Acura mdx whose transmission was crapping on me. I searched online for good reputable tranny places and although there were many, only a few had good reviews, thus my decision in choosing Dolphin. I base all of my purchasing and services decisions on reviews so by logic I would do the same in this case. I dealt mostly with Ray and from the start the dude was awesome over the phone. more

I brought my 2005 BMW 530i to Dolphin Transmissions to get my transmission rebuilt. I went there because the dealer quoted me an outrageous price to change it. My girlfriend told me to try Dolphin and I am so glad I did. They quoted me a price that was half of what the dealer was asking and got me a rental the same day I dropped it off. The car was finished 3 days later as promised. Richie and Ray were so nice and made me feel so comfortable. I would recommend this shop to all of my friends. Love you guys!!! more

"I asked Ray & Richie if I can watch the tech when working on my Saturn SL2 valve body. I stood there for more than 3 hours when he is replacing parts in the valve body. Drill out the bore hole and replace the parts from Sonnax. All the parts that needed to be greased was done. The retaining clips was properly seated and checked. The solenoids was cleaned and ohmed out. \r All the bolts was torqued to spec. These guy did a honest job. This is the best you can get these days.\r Other places don't want to give you the time of day!!\r I would recommend these guys." more

They installed 5/27/2014

They installed a rebuilt transmission in my 97 Ford Explorer about a year and a half ago. Recently, my truck had issues going in reverse, so I brought it back in. Knowing that the warranty had expired a long time ago, I brought along my receipt anyway, just to show them what work had been done. To my surprise, they honored the warranty and fixed it FOR FREE!!! Can't get better than that! Can't thank them enough!!!! I highly recommend these honest, reliable & kindhearted mechanics!!! more

I brought my 2001 Toyota 4-Runner to Dolphin Transmissions after another transmission shop messed it up. My A/T temp light was on for 2 years and nobody could fix it. Dolphin fixed the problem in 2 days and my car has never worked better. Thank you Dolphin!!! more
