I like steak and my wife likes seafood.  The Dolphin Reef was the best place we went on Tybee Island for both in the same place.  It’s hard for me to get my steaks cooked like I like them but the chef at the Dolphin Reef knew how.  My wife loves shrimp and she had about every kind they serve here and loved all of the different meals.  I can’t wait to go back to this restaurant. more

THIS PLACE! 9/28/2012

Unfortunately if you eat out on Tybee Island, you can’t appreciate the food, service, and view at the Dolphin Reef until you go to some of the other seafood restaurants and leave broke and disappointed. Or maybe you will learn a lesson from my experience and just go to the Dolphin Reef in the first place. more

Dolphin Reef is better than expected 8/20/2012

I went to this restaurant thinking a hotel restaurant with a great view would probably be mediocre and overpriced.  Was I ever wrong.  Their oysters were the best I have ever eaten.  The seafood platter was just as good. more

Low Country Boil was fabulous 5/29/2012

I had the Low Country Boil and can easily recommend it.  I'm going back next time I am in Tybee Island. It was great! more
