Dollywood

Dollywood has plenty of music, food and Dolly. You'll also find some great thrill rides. The park has a few roller coasters, including a pretty wild wooden one. Children and teens (and crazy fathers) will love the water area. It's like a multi-leveled fort equipped with squirt guns and water cannons. A county fair area has traditional rides like bumper cars and a tumbler. Locals look forward to Dollywood's festivals. Everyone has a favorite. The first one is the International Festival during April and finishes with Christmas at Dollywood. The park always has a lot of music filling its three or four theaters. Most of the music is bluegrass, gospel or country. It's not all mainstream. If you're a Dolly Parton fan, you'll want to visit the museum. Even if you're not a fan, you'll be amazed at how long and how varied her career has been. What this amusement park does better than most is food. It has lots of it. You may wait in line for an hour to ride one of the more popular rides, but there's enough food establishments that you won't have to wait on lunch. And it's all pretty good. (Well, it does have a few stands that remind you of carnival food.) Don't leave without a funnel cake. more

I have been to dolly wood 4 times and it never gets old.I love the Thunderhead and the other fun rides.This place is perfect for tourists,this place has many places to eat and get my favorite funnel cakes with chocolate syrup.The lines can get really long but that is at any amusement park.My favorite time to go is on winter holidays because the lights are beautiful.They have cool bird shows showing birds like eagles owls parrots and so on.They also have these cool yummy stands called Dots.Thanks for reading more

I've been going to Dollywood for as long as I can remember. It's changed over the years but I think it's for the better. The rides are more fun and there is now a better selection. They also have lots of places to eat, whether you want to sit down or eat on the ground. The lines can get really long but that's to be expected at any amusement park. more

This has become my favorite place to take the kiddos. The Dollywood season pass is a great value if you go at least twice in the year. Every season has something special. My favorite time to go is during the winter holidays. The Christmas lights are fantastic, there are costumed carolers and great hot chocolate! Of course the summertime allows you to enjoy all of the water rides, but Dollywood is fun anytime! more

I have been to dolly wood 4 times and it is overall a great place to have fun. The attractions vary from coasters to shows. After visiting Cedar point, these rides are less thrilling, however this park has a ton of great shows. However, the price is comparable to the other huge famous sites like Disney world. Over all it is a fun place to spend a day. more
