Dollar Tree is a great place to go to get products that are traditionally overpriced. You friend doesn't care that you spent $6 on her gift bag for her present--so why not spend $1? Sending thank you cards after special occasions can also get costly, which is why I choose to get an 8-pack of cards for $1 instead of $4-5 at the local greeting card store. The store is always clean and the staff is very helpful finding products. Just don't bring your debit card because they are a cash-only business. more

Stop in and take a peek 3/31/2006

This store always has great items for $1. Every item in this store is only a dollar, unlike some other stores that just have a few items at a $1. I love their holiday items as well as every isle. You never know what you will find. I hate to buy things in other places as I always think I could get it there for cheaper. They offer name brand items as well as generic and if you find something you like...buy in bulk as the next time you go in, they will not have it. more
