My wife keeps visiting them since we've in Bay Area and definitely they do offer great prices while making my wife look as beautiful as ever! This is what I call enjoying life while saving money! last week my wife told me they're also offering a huge deal on www.speedeals.co ! Felt all the more better :) more

Loyal Client!!! 9/30/2009

I've been a loyal client of Dolce Vita for about 5yrs or so. The decor is relaxing, and the staff is friendly. I've had the plesure to always be able to see Maria for my mani and pedi's. My nails used to be very thin and would always break, they are now healthy and thick. I enjoy our time together, being with her makes me feel like I'm visiting a close friend, very comforable. Everybody make your requests for Maria the manicurist! Pros: Friendly staff, comforting, and reasonably priced more

Amazing Experience 9/30/2009

So i have never had a Brazilian bikini wax before, but I decided to try it out. I searched around for the perfect place, and sure enough it was Dolce Vita. The place is beautiful inside and out, and they really do make you feel at home. Every since my experience with Dolce Vita, there is no other place for me. I highly recommend it. more

My experience here was exceptional. It was my first time getting a Brazilian wax and I was really hesitant. I did a lot of research finding just the right spot. Dolce Vita and Tiffany came with really high marks. Dolce Vita is beautiful inside. The decor is really warm and welcoming. The amenities that are available while you wait are great. When I met Tiffany for the first time, I was really nervous, but she does a great job at putting you at ease. She is very professional and really knows what she's doing. I thought my experience would be more painful considering I got a Brazilian wax, but Tiffany uses this special wax for the uber sensitive areas. She walks you through each step, so there aren't any surprises. She is amazing and I wouldn't mind returning. The place is a bit pricey, but definitely well worth it. Customer Service?? 5/6/2008

I have had my share of wonderful treatments in this Beautiful victorian and I must say that this place functions despite the management and ignorant manicurist/part time receptionist who gossips about clients and her personal life.She loves to sit and talk on her cell phone while one waits to be serviced.I sat through a pedicure with another manicurist,Tomik,and endured a foul conversation between two other manicurists sitting next to me.One was giving the other a pedicure,apparently just before her wedding and both were complaining about their clients.Tomik was obviously mortified by their conversations and I was extremely uncomfortable. Niether of them seemed to care that I was there. I loved my treatments with Tomik, I loved my massages, and I especially loved the ambiance and decor of this spa but I cannot support an establishment which allows such behavior.This house is Beautiful and the prices are affordable, if you can avoid the manicure room all together. BTW, I did place a call to the owner, Leslie Medina. She never returned my call. more

Facials are wonderful! 3/6/2008

Ok, so I walk into this place with my wife for the amore package. I was very hesitant about being a male in the spa setting and would say that I wasnt really looking foward to it. That all changed very quickly. A beautiful young lady named Danielle came out to the sitting area and brought me back to a room. Her smile and presence was beautiful to say the least. Things were already looking up. She explained the whole process and made me feel very comfortable to be there. Then the facial process started and I was in heaven. Hand, arm, and face massage...warm lotions on your face....even the part where she cleans out blackheads didnt even hurt! Guys, facials are awesome. Try it. more

I've been curious about Brazillian waxing for a period of time but scared to try it out. It was just yesterday that I saw everyone's posting in here that made me feel comfortable about getting it done at Dolce Vita. I called them last night to set up an appointment with Tiffany, but she wasn't available. So, I got set up with Stacey for today. I was excited and scared because I don't know how it will be. It was very awkward at first but Stacey explained the procedure, made me feel comfortable and worked her way through. She was very professional about it and at the same time she acted like a friend who knew what I was about to get into. I'm very satisfied with the result and will definitely go back. Thanks Everyone for all your HONEST REVIEWS it helped me out a lot! Pros: Best Price! Easy Going Staff! Professionals! Wonderful Atmosphere! Cons: nothing... Nice, quiet spa, friendly staff. Reasonable prices. It's small and can be easy to miss in the dark, which is a slight downside. Cons: not a lot of parking more

I went to dolce vita for the first time and Danielle was so nice and she made me feel so comfortable. I was so nervous esp since it was my first brazillian and she was great she took her time,made sure I was okay. I thought it was going to be so painful but it was not bad at all I was truly surprised and she used soft and hard wax. I am def going to her again.Im glad I found her!! Cons: Parking more

Best Brows in Town by Danielle 7/25/2007

I have been a client at Dolce Vita for about 4 years and have had my brows done by all estheticians and nobody has been camparable to my experience with Danielle. She is not only a perfectionist at what she does but she is also very sweet and very knowledgeable about her profession. You can ask her any question and she wil have an answer. I dont have to look any futher because I have found what I was looking for. Thanks Danielle! more

Great Place!!!!!! Do not get Danielle for a Brazillian.... 7/19/2007

Ok, this is the great place for a Brazilian but I DO NOT recommend Danielle. Tiffany is the best; unfortunately, I forgot her name and thought it was Danielle... I swear she was slow. I told her a million times I wanted it ALL off and she skipped so many places and it was sooo painful. I was VERY disappointed... Usually I feel clean after a brazilian but i had to come home and shave all of the places she missed. She even asked me if she should do a certain spot, it's like "DUH, I'm getting a brazilian!!!" I'm even contemplating going to a new place but then remember that Tiffany is great. I will never forget Tiffany's name now!!!! If you are going for a brazilian stay away from Danielle..... more

Loved my first ever brazilian wax! Tiffany is awesome!! 6/26/2007

I was looking for a place to get my first brazilian wax and after reading the reviews on here about Dolce Vida and Tiffany, I made an appointment. I just got back and I loved it. Tiffany truly is awesome. She made me feeling at ease from the beginning and even had me laughing during the waxing. Sure, it hurts, but only for a few seconds and only in 2 places. Everywhere else is a piece of cake. She did such a great job that I won't go anywhere else. It was the perfect first time experience for me. The only negative part (which isn't a huge deal) was that they don't take tips on credit or debit card. You have to leave cash (or a check) in an envelope for them. I didn't know this so I didn't have enough cash on me and no checkbook. I left all the cash I had on me which was a few dollars short of what I wanted to leave. I'm so happy I found this place! Pros: Tiffany is a great waxer! I'll never go anywhere else. Cons: absolutely none more

I just went to have my first waxing experience. I went to see Stacey, she is great!!!! She was so easy to talk to and would tell me everything she was going to do. I really felt at ease with her. Great job Stacey!!! more

I have to say; Tiffany is the best waxer in the area! Not only is she really professional and meticulous, she is very personable and knows how to make her clients feel comfortable and at ease. I have been going to her for over a year for an eyebrow and brazilian wax. I have tried other well-established places when I'm in a time crunch but paid dearly for the service: very short and rude with me. I learned my lesson the hard way and realized that the service is just as important as the finished product. Tiffany is so cool to talk to AND she does an exceptional job with her waxing services. Boy was i surprised for my bithday my wife gave me a gift card to a spa, I first no way was i going, but what a place, Dolce Vita is a very cool looking and smelling place. I had a gentlemans facial with Diana, wow what a feeling, I learned alot about my skin and the facial was just awsome, I'll tell you one thing this first experience was so cool, i brought my wife and i the couples package. Most woman know that waxing for the first time can make you pretty nervous, especially if you are getting a Brazillian Wax. At Dolce Vita Tiffany Jost is remarkable, she had a wonderful personality that put me at ease, whent through the procedure before starting so i knew what was happening, in fact her bedside manner was so awesome, she acually took my mind off of the waxing, little to no discomfort. Perfect Eyebrows by Miros 6/12/2006

It was my first time at Dolce and I can say it was really great. I am always hesitant to try new places especially when it comes to eyebrow waxing b/c I have had disasters in the past. First off, Miros is a sweetheart. I liked her right away- she has such a great attitude and is very warm. Second, she does fabulous work. My eyebrows have truly never looked better. To top it off, she says they will get even better as they grow in in certain spots! Bravo, Miros! I cant wait to go back for a facial!
