I took my cat yesterday to groom there (at 10am) when they open. I was told I will be called 2-3 hrs later to pick Scrooge up. The call never came, and I did read some very negative reviews about this place on other websites...now concerned already, I drive up Webster Ave. to check what's going on...I come in (@1:30PM) and the owner is ""chillin"" and chatting, when upon my asking for the cat, he tells me ""Oh, naaah we aint get to him yet, i need 2 people to do it""...I was shocked at the nonchalantness and no care, no concern , no hint of any other professional trait. GHETTO MESS!! He proceeded to tell me ""you can come back later, Saturdays are very busy""...later when?? What am I going to last all day driving from Bedford to Nereid Ave? I told him that unlike the neighborhood crowd I had a 9-5 Mon-Fri, and that's why he is open the weekends to accommodate people like me...not to mention I was there at 10:09 am (first in the store)...he said well i can come back tomorrow he will give me a discount? ARE YOU SERIOUS???? Oh, and the pricing ranges based on how he feels that day...When I initially called I was told it would be $65, yesterday $75 (which I did mention to him)...and obviously I paid nothing since he held the cat for almost 4 hrs in his carrier (without food/ water-which I didn't include thinking I will only carry him from point A to point B to groom and back home)...
I had nothing to say (usually I would flip, argue etc..) But honestly I was just shocked and asked for my cat and left...Poor Scrooge was meowing, but was happy when I brought him home and opened the carrier...
STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR PET (and I'm only sayin this after I READ negative comments but thought I'd give this place a try).
