Doggie Playhouse

I was expected to pick up my friend's dog while my friend was out of town. I got there on a Sunday. First, the dog had been kept away from the other dogs because apparently he was too active so when i arrived there, he wasn't with the other dogs but in the lobby crying. He was so happy to see me.\r \r Second, after i took the dog in my car, i noticed the dog was bleeding. When i arrived home i examined the dog and i realized he had an injury next to his mouth. Guess what? The dog was clipped by the staff at the Doggy Playhouse AND:\r \r 1. they did it poorly\r 2. they did it WITHOUT the consent of the owners.\r \r It is my understanding that upon contacting the business, the business acknowledged the error, made an apology but did have the audacity to reply back: ""there's nothing that can be done now.""\r \r This is a horrible, unprofessional business and i strongly recommend residents to stay away from it. more

If you look for a place to safely board your dog, this is NOT your place, I took my Giant Schnauzer to this place and it was boarded for 2 nights also I paid for bath and nails. I specific asked not to groom this dog because it is a showing dog and need special grooming. When I got the dog back he was bleeding from his mouth and also they groomed his beard and muzzle. First they told me that he chewed on a brush then I noticed the grooming. On this kind of dogs you shouldn't groom the beard (muzzle) at all. I selected this place because it was expensive and I thought they will take care of my dog but I was totally wrong, I wouldn't recommend this place to you if you care about your dog.\r \r more

Such a relief to know that my dog is in such a fun loving atmosphere! The staff is awesome and they take great measures to get to know your dog and to keep you posted as to how they are doing. She is happy and tired when she gets home!!!! A top notch recommendation!!!! more
