On the evening of Saturday, 7/11 around 9:30-10pm , there were fireworks near the village. At the time, I was enjoying ice cream at Sno-Top. I could hear two howling dogs from the fenced in area behind Dog One Inn from the other side of the parking lot. I attempted to knock on the business door, and called the business phone number, and got no reply. I walked around to the back of the building, and looked over the fence to see two dogs left with no access to the indoors, (the doggie doors were firmly shut.) and the the white one was obviously terrified by the fireworks. They left dogs unattended, with no human supervision, outdoors during a fireworks display!! Further, on looking in the window, they have cats inside the premise overnight, (possibly dogs too, I couldn't see any), but no discernible fire sprinkler or suppression system... II spent more than an hour in the parking lot, it was clear there was no staff member on site, and no cars anywhere near the business. If you're going to pay to board your dog here, you may as well leave them in your back yard at home, since that is what they appear to do here!
