DON'T GO HERE!! 9/22/2011

I have never had such a horrible experience with a doctor's office. While the doctor herself was fine, she was not worth going back to after the office staff put me through one stressful ordeal after another. They tried to charge me the full cost of a doctor's visit even though I have insurance (their billing is a mess) and when I tried to question the ladies at the desk about it they simply said "I don't know, call billing," - as a response to questions they should know the answer to. Then they billed me a copay MONTHS after my appointment, when they assured me there was no copay for the immunization I received that day. Also, this is a series of three injections and I didn't even get the bill until after my third shot (6 months after my first shot). It's like they didn't want me to know I would be charged so I'd keep coming back and end up owing them money. I called repeatedly to try to fight this charge only to have the staff not listen to me and try to pass me off to someone else. Nobody would return my calls or give me any answers and I ended up having to walk in and deal with it. The very rude office manager told me I had to pay because even though there is no copay for the shot itself, they are charging a copay for just visiting the office. If I had known this was the case, I would have gone somewhere else that does not charge a patient for essentially walking into the building. She would still not waive my fee even though I thought they should since they lied to me and told me I wouldn't have to pay anything at all. I ended up having to pay the copay, only to receive another bill two days ago for my visit in early June. Just to put the cherry on top, the appointment desk people are snappy and also very rude. These people LIE to their patients and don't care if you come back or not, so there's no reason for them to treat you nicely. Stay far, far away! more

I would not recommend them. 3/22/2011

The staff has been good so far, as long as I walk in. Every time I deal with them over the phone, it is useless! I left the nurses a message this morning around 8:30 AM and to this point no one has returned my call. What's the purpose of having a nurse available on call if she WILL NOT be available? The other really bad part is when you speak to appointment desk. I've spent a minimum of 10 minutes on hold, waiting for someone to either change my appointment or schedule me in...EVERY TIME! Not ONCE have I waited less than 10 minutes. I get the impression that they only care for the patients that walk in because those are the ones they make money off of. I don't want to go to the ER and pay an arm and a leg, just so that they tell me that the symptoms I'm having are normal! That's what the triage nurses are for! They lack good customer service. :-/ more

Run away. A patient assembly line 3/18/2011

My girlfriend, who is 7 weeks pregnant, and I went to Doctors Of Women on the recommendation of her GP. She had some light bleeding and abdominal pain. Being concerned about the pregnancy, or worse a miscarriage, they squeezed her in the same day for which we were very appreciative. That's the end of the good news. We did NOT see a doctor but the doctors nurse who never ONCE looked me in the eye, said hi or ever acknowledged that I was even in the room! Hello? Never looked my g/f in the eye either. She was cold and unprofessional and acted like a know-it-all. When she did a pelvic exam she was rough and caused my g/f much discomfort. The nurse scheduled a blood test down the hall. When we arrived there were about 20 others waiting for blood tests and only one guy taking blood so we left and went to Santa Ana to Heritage group office and walked right in and gave blood in 5 minutes. How great can the doctors be if the system is so flawed? The doctor's are the heads of the system so what does that tell you? It flows down hill from the heads. It's an assembly line, you are a $ sign just like most dental offices these days. The waiting room was packed. When I walked in the examination area with my girlfriend they looked at me like I was in the forbidden zone. We do not recommend going to this patient mill. Before you go you might consider doing what I did: I called St. Josephs Hospital referral service and they gave me a list of different doctors in our area, their qualifications, what insurance they take, where they went to school etc. We picked a new doctor from that list and we're going next week. Also no thanks to Doctors Of Women, we have since found out after an ultrasound at St. Josephs that everything is fine with the baby. Hope this helps more

The wait for this office is always ridiculous..annoying.. 2/2/2011

I love Dr. Mozayeni and the staff are always nice and pleasant. After that being said, the appt. desk ppl need to stop overbooking patients. Its extremely annoying to take a few hours out of work to go see the Doc and end up not being able to see her because she had left for delivery. I understand delivery can't wait but have the courtesy to let me know once i walk in that she's gone so I am not waiting over an hour and then tell me shes not here and suggest I see the Nurse and wait for her. I am sorry but I do have other things to do but wait for the Nurse who is obviously taking her time and the office just wasting my time. That being said, I will only recommend it if you don't mind all those things but for me I will probably and more likely find a new Doctor because I been rescheduled 3 times and if I call its my 4th time and that is just ridiculous. I am not a stay at home mom or student who doesn't work. more

They don't respect women 11/17/2010

If you love yourself, you would not go to this place. They force people to see and have physical exam with a low level nurse first after that they will give you appointment for one of their doctors for 3 weeks latter. The nurse was extremely rude and didn't even lesson. I had an emergency situation and needed medicine, and she recommended over the counter medication!!!! After coming home my body was heart and I couldn't sleep from pain and I cried and cried. I physically and emotionally have gotten sick. I'm going to file a police report. They can't do this to other people. more

frustrated 7/20/2010

VERY disorganized office, calls you 10 minutes before your appointment to tell you that your appointment has been cancelled, double books appointments quite frequently, and books appointments when doctors aren't even going to be there! VERY inefficient. the wait time has ALWAYS been over an hour. it's ridiculous. some of us don't sit around all day waiting for the doctor. some of us have to work! Pros: doctors are fantastic...IF you can see them Cons: office admin/receptionist/appointment people more

More than helpful 1/27/2010

Doctors of Women's health has been very helpful with the many health stuggles I have been through. My doctor has been more than kind and caring When I fainted in the office, all of the secretaries and nurses were more than helpful. They were kind and extremely accomodating to my needs. Pros: Polite, accomodating, and caring more

Poor Client Communication! Over 1 month for results! 1/21/2010

Wife went in for routine ob visit. Mentioned to doctor about increased frequency of urination at night. Doctor does urinalysis. 1 month later!!!! Assistant calls saying there's a urinary tract infection and she needs antibiotics. They blamed lab saying they didn't receive results until 3 days ago. Well, as a veterinarian, a urine and culture test takes 5-7 days maximum. Also, I confirmed on JustAnswer . com with many obgyn's that the culture should have taken only a few days at most. Also, all records are computerized, so it did not get lost in the fax or NOT sent by the lab. Excuses....No apologizes....and still....no call from doctor..... By the way...Look at review for Carla Wells. That poor women had abnormal pap smear results, and it took one month for her to get her results. Not a joke. Go look. Stay away from Doctors of Women Pros: see below Cons: definitely, see below more
