Doctor's Family Clinic

I recently cut the inside of my thumb on broken glass while doing the dishes. It was pretty severe, but I live in the coast range and did not want to have it looked at until I went to work the next day. I stopped into DFIC before work. As soon as Christina Fyfe FNP had taken a look at it, she numbed it and started putting in stitches, about 15 all together. My cut healed really fast and she did such a nice job that I cannot even see the stitches anymore. The cost was minimal, compared to other stitches I have had in the past; and I did not have to wait at all (unlike an ER where the wait is usually hours). The staff there was great and so is Christina. I will definitely recommend this clinic to my friends.\r more

I've gone here for many years. Before going there when my children were sick, I'd call the pediatrician's office at about 8:00 when they opened, & wait until noon for the nurse to call me back and then get in to see the pediatrician at about 4:00 and then get to the pharmacy around 6:00 and get home around 8:00 p.m. with a sick child all day. \r \r Here it's different. No appointments are needed. I can come in at 8:00 when they open and get out of there by 9:00 and to the pharmacy and home before noon. Sick children are feeling better by that evening or the next morning because I'm able to be seen so much faster than going to my regular pediatrician. \r \r All of the doctors there are knowledgeable and friendly. One will even makes a balloon for my children out of a glove. My children aren't scared of the doctors here.\r \r I've also gone to other immediate cares and the wait here is usually much less than at others I've been to. more

I've gone to this clinic, as well as the one that they have in Tigard, for several years now and you can't beat the convenience of being able to walk in and see a doctor within a matter or minutes instead of having to make an appointment. I've mainly treated with Dr. Boling or Dr. Peng, and both have been very personable and attentive to my health concerns and needs. They are quick at calling in prescriptions and making sure your needs are met. Plus, they take most major insurances, and I even take my kids here to treat for anything from strep to getting their flu vaccinations. Great place! more
