Dockside Sea Grille

Sitting here right now. Resturaunt was only half full yet it took10 min to seat a party of three. Then once we were seated it took another 10 min for a drink order. If we did not have a certificate we would not have stayed through it. Lastly, their service is very slow maybe it was just tonight but we will not be back. more

My husband and I went to dinner here for the first (and only) time. We waited 15 minutes to order drinks. There were only 5 tables occupied. We placed a food order and waited 55 minutes and finally got the attention of an employee. We were given a basket with 2 pieces of bread after sitting for 45 minutes. One hour after ordering, our food was presented. Mine was cold and my husband said his was terrible. We watched a rat run across the patio and the people at the next table got up and threw it into the water. The waitress never came to check on us, so we finally got up, walked to the door and complained. Do not eat here...please!!!!! more

Well.. Where to start! \r \r A friend and I went there for lunch and had terrible service on top of waiting forever for our food. When we addressed our concerns about the amount of time we waited for our food she simply said he's working on it with no apology or the courtesy of a "it should be ready in just a few minutes". \r \r We arrived on a weekday well after the normal lunch rush around 1:45 and waited 45 minutes for our soup and salad which we politely asked about 2x. We were told our soup and salad were being made to order... 45 minutes for a wedge salad and clam chowder seems a bit ridiculous! \r \r Less than 2 minutes after receiving our soup and salad our entrees were placed in front of us. We asked for the check and when we asked to split the bill on our cards we were told there was a Credit Card minimum... Our total BILL WAY EXCEEDED whatever the minimum was, when we addressed our concern as neither of us had cash the manager said there were no exceptions. When I mentioned that I realize that CC companies charge a processing fee per order and I understood the rule was to help compensate for processing fees, but surely she had to see our total was over the limit she simply said " well it all adds up" referring to the extra 0.003% she would incur on an additional credit card purchase. \r \r The experience was ridiculous and the food was average and overpriced. I will take my business elsewhere... in this economy they need to consider that they are in the business of customer service and they failed miserably on all fronts. more

sorry but the food was awful. My husband and I passed by several times and decided to go for dinner. I had never had shell less crabs and was excited to try it. I have to say the food was awfull. the crab was definitely not fresh. It was mushy and tasted like it was defrosted and cooked. the vegetables were so hard it was hard to eat. My husband had the crab stuffed lobster tail. the crab stuffing was awful and the lobster did not taste fresh either. He ordered the side of rice which was cold, hard and dry. Would never go back there. more

We stopped in by luck when trying to find a shoe repair place. This was a block or so away and had seating on the water. Wine was 2 for 1 and martinis were $4. We each had a char broiled steak from the early bird special list. Hey, we just happened to be there before 6pm. The dinner salad was fresh and perfectly presented on a chilled plate. The steak was nicely cooked with great flavor with potato wedges and a veggie medley as sides. Dessertwas included and was a 4-bite mini eclair which was a nice finale. Service was attentive and friendly. 2, 3 course steak dinners, 4 glasses of wine and 2 martinis for $40 cash ( it would be more if charged) served waterside was in my opinion, a great value. A nice, clean establishment that I would certainly like to find myself again! more
