They rented faulty equipment and charged me an arm and a leg to replace. Did a quick search online and the price was $200 over the prices I found. Very poor customer service, including from the owner himself - total indifference and an obvious hunger to make money off of you at any cost. Will never go back to this joint and would not recommend it to anyone. more

Great place 7/14/2006

Now the have a pool for lessons in the back so makes it really nice to learn how to dive. I have known Dan King for many many years and it's nice to see how this place has grown from just another dive shop to the premier shop in our area. more

Diver Dan's 11/14/2005

Diver Dans is a great place get some scuba diving lessons. They even have a pool in their store. Their classes are affordable and the instructors are seasoned instructors that really love diving and enjoy teaching others. While youre at it you might as well buy all your scuba gear at their store too. Their prices are very competitive and they have just about everything you could need. more

Diver Dan's Wet Pleasure at 2245 El Camino Real in Santa Clara is my favorite dive operator. I received my scuba diving training certification from them. I have referred many of my friends who have also received their certifications from Diver Dan. They have recently added a heated pool to their building so the pool training can be conducted there. The instructors are very good and they sell all the scuba equipment that you will need. more

I bought my diving equipment for Hawaii here. I do not know much about diving equipment, but they had the snorkels and paddles that I needed. The equpment seemed like cheap plastics, but they worked wonderfully well nevertheless. I went here not wanting to spend a lot and that is what I got. The service people here were great too. more

Swim with fishies! 7/29/2005

Diver Dan's is an oldie but a goodie. Great knowledgable staff and huge selection. I reccomend this place to both novice ocean exlporers and those who have been swimming the seas forever. This place is older than the street it is on, i think and it shows through their seasoned expertises and reasonable pricing. Go visit them to see what they carry and have a great swim! more

Diver Dan's is more than a company, it's a philosophy of excellence" History Of The Business Diver Dan's is the largest volume retail Scuba store in Northern California. On July 17, 1995, Dan King purchased "Wet Pleasure" and changed its name to "Diver Dan's Wet Pleasure". Prior to the store being called "Wet Pleasure", it was called "Steele's Scuba". In January of 2002, Dan officially shorted the name of the store to just Diver Dan's. In total, the store has been in business for over 35 years.
