I would never shop at this store, or send anyone with any self respect here for the intrusive rudeness that I experienced. I was glad to see the other review here, because I feel not so alone with this anymore. I will be as brief as possible I don't think it all will fit... So I went in on Dec 23rd 2010 with my twin 4yr old daughters. Everything seemed ok at first, I was looking for Christmas dresses, the 1st saleswoman was helping me(with a bit of an attitude), and I had one of my daughters hang on to one of the 4 dresses I was comparing, she quickly snatched the dress from her, and said, ""I'll take that don't get it dirty"" but i ignored that, and was continuing to compare dresses, but my daughters were getting hot (wearing winter coats) and I took their coats off, and placed them on the end of an empty rack, was about to decide on which to buy when in walks a lady through the front entrance (the owner, who hadn't even taken her coat off or put her bags down yet) she walks up to me and says ""can I help you with something?""( I found this strange since she'd just walked in, and the other woman was clearly already helping me) So I say, ""the other woman right here is helping me"" and she says ""well we can't have these here"" and snatches my childrens coats off the rack. I was so floored, she saw me, with two children and 4 potential dresses in my hand, and instead of offering to help me hold things, was more concerned about me not having the coats on the rack, it was so ridiculous i couldn't believe what was happening, I just put the dresses back and left. Upon reading the other reviews i'm thinking this woman may have OCD or some other personality disorder, which still doesn't excuse her ridiculous behavior. I ended up at Macy's and got a couple of really nice dresses, so it worked out for me, but if i can deter at least one person from going in there, I will feel a little better... I can't wait to see a boarded up window instead of that shop there someday soon.... :0) more

I purchased a name bracelet for a new baby and was told that it would take 3 weeks for the bracelet to come in. The bracelet came in 3 months later! No apologies were given and the customer service was awful. \r \r I've gone into this store many times and have made some purchases. The staff (mostly the owner) is incredibly rude and never greets anyone with a hello or asks if she can be of assistance. They should remember my face after the amount of times I've gone in there but they don't or they're just that rude to ignore me. \r \r I called the store to find out about the bracelet and was told that they were busy and could not talk to me. I told them that I had been been waiting 2 1/2 months and asked them to reconsider how busy they were. They said they would have to speak with me at another time. When the bracelet finally came in, I told them that I was very disappointed that it took 9 weeks longer than expected and they said the manufacturer apologizes - Diva Kidz, however, never apologized. They told me that the gift recipient would appreciate the gift regardless that it was late. I responded by asking if she exchanges Christmas gifts in April and she responded by asking in a very rude tone, ""Do you want the bracelet or not?""\r \r I will never shop in this store again and will be sure to let everyone I know that this is by far the worst store I've ever been in. Everyone I know whose gone in this store has had a bad experience. Please find another store to support - personally, I LOVE Tiny Threads in North Haven. They're great because they have beautiful items, reasonable prices, and the owner is incredibly friendly and helpful. more

This shop has many pretty dresses, but the owner is the biggest monster I've encountered in many years. I walked into this shop on Sunday with my daughter (age 3) and mother-in-law set to buy a flower girl dress for a July wedding. We walked in smiling. We walked out about 20 minutes later completely shaken up at the rude behavior the owner displayed. This was shocking as I had visited the store 3-4 times previously to check out their stock and ask about sizing and alterations, etc. The women had always been helpful and pleasant. The owner's first remarks to us were that we would have to leave her store to ""clean up"" my little girl before she would allow us to try anything on. I understand her not wanting her stock to get dirty, but we had just come from church, so my little one WAS clean. I took my little girl outside for a minute to clean her hands and face with wipes, but when we returned, the owner's demeanor had not changed (not to mention the foul stink coming from her mouth - Ugh! Get to a dentist!!). We picked out two dresses, and she showed us to the smallest of dressing rooms. I could barely fit in there with my daughter, and my mother-in-law waited just in the doorway. The owner watched me undress my little girl and then instructed me (sternly!) to put the dress on over my child's head. I did. Apparently I didn't do that correctly (huh?) as she told me my little girl's arms should have been raised over her head. I didn't say anything. We went to the big mirror outside of the dressing room area (where my husband and son were waiting). She then told my son to get out of her store (age 6). She thought he was chewing something. He was not. We went back to try on the second dress when the woman told us we were done. My daughter started to cry, and she told us that the tears would stain her dress. (I'm leaving out a bunch due to character limits.) My husband asked for the owner's name. She's the owner. Unfortunate!! Go to Strausberg! So nice and great quality! Pros: Nothing! Cons: Rude and smelly owner who apparently hates children more
