Worst

We were a group of about 6 people and we were HUNGRY! It was in the evening around 6 pm and we waited about an hour and a half to get into what looked like a fancy pizza kitchen,...

If your looking for overpriced, under-flavore food EAT HERE! 6/13/2009

As a group of non-picky, friendly college students after a long days walk around California Adventures we decided that Italian would suffice our hunger spot. Naples seemed a bit overpriced but it's outside charm and our empty stomaches lead us through their doors. The wait time was not as steep as compared to the other Downtown Disney restaurants and we were seated in the quaint outside patio within 20 min of checking in. So far so good. The waitress was warm and welcoming and the bread basket was delicious minus the cup of oil (sans balsamic vinegar, which we had to add spoonfuls of pepper to in order to get SOME flavor). I had ordered a simple salad of spinach and a vinaigrette dressing, Ironically enough we had later realized that the missing vinegar from the bread oil was instead drenching my salad! Not only was my esophagus burning but the so called famous pizza they served for $16.50 for a personal size didn't even come with quality cheese. When my friend who had that of so flimsy, greasy pizza asked for a side of ranch, which at a $1 charge came looking and tasting like it had lived past its expected period. The two other plates, a lasagna and an alfredo carbona we severely under-seasoned and lacked that true italian soul. As our meal, if you'd like to call it that, came to a close the waitress did ask of our opinions in which i had explained to her my distaste for the salad and she kindly offered us a free dessert which did not in any which way made up for the horrible $85 meal. Even on a hungry stomach, some meals are just unforgivable. Pros: Good Bread Cons: Everything but the bread more

Authentic Neapolitan-style Pizza 3/27/2009

After living in Naples, Italy for two years, this is the first place we've been to that served something like the original Neapolitan pizza (they invented it). They understand that, as, we heard from the local in Naples, the secret is in the ingredients (water and flour). It really caught our eye when their menu stated that they use water with the same chemical composition as Naples' water. For those looking for an American-style heaped-up, thick crust pizza, look elsewhere. If you're looking for something like a real Naples pizza, this is the place. Certainly far better than the food and prices inside Disneyland! Highly recommended! Pros: Gets very close to the real thing Cons: Wouldn't be good for those looking for American-style pizza more

Simply Not Worth the Wait 2/4/2009

We were a group of about 6 people and we were HUNGRY! It was in the evening around 6 pm and we waited about an hour and a half to get into what looked like a fancy pizza kitchen, the service was so slow and the waiters were not very upbeat, being that it was suppose to be the ""Disney"" atmosphere and all. Once we placed our order it took a good oh, I'd have to say hour to get our food when all we ordered was one pizza. When we got it, we were so disappointed, the crust looked like a cracker that had been slightly burnt instead of toasted and the sauce tasted like it was from a spagettio can topped off with this gross cheese that tasted like imitation. Over all I would say that it was NOT worth the money or the time. for that kind of money head over to California adventure go down to the board walk and get the chicken strips! you get a lot of meat and fries for your buck! Heck I would even prefer the corn dogs from the Corn dog Castle in California adventure! Pros: The place had the look Cons: everything else more

Good food 1/8/2009

I brought my now ex to this place and we love pizza so this place was perfect, pizza was big and delicious. the one thing we didnt like was we were seated sort of close the entrance so every group that entered had to go around us, it got kind of annoying after a while. The price is a little up but its worth the food. Pros: Pizza and locations looks really nice. Cons: seating arrangements more

No better than a cafeteria; horrible value. 12/21/2006

What a letdown. I've been here twice now, and the pizza is worse than what you'd get at Round Table or even Pizza Hut. I found only two beans in my minestrone soup, and my ravioli was literally swimming in a puddle of butter. Not what you'd expect at these ridiculous prices. It was impossible to have a conversation, and the owners know they have you over a barrel what with Disneyland a hop away. The wine was watered down, and the only reason I didn't give this place a zero was because the 3 servers we had were somewhat pleasant. If you go here, don't expect anything better than cafeteria food and atmosphere. It's a waste. Pros: Somewhat cheerful service Cons: Slow service, horrible food, loud, crowded, overpriced waste of money more

good italian 11/24/2006

I went here with my boyfriend and my parents. I got the penne with tomato sauce. It was decent. It was super busy and loud. And, it was hard to make conversation because we couldn't hear each other. We got our table fast, but the food took a while to come out. Our server was super friendly and kept our drinks filled. Pros: nice atmosphere Cons: parking fee more

So-so food, decent service 11/22/2006

My girlfriend and I were visiting the theme park with her parents one day and we decided to stop here for lunch. While the prices were worthy of more high-end restaurants, this is by no means a fancy restaurant. The music inside is too loud, and our food was only slightly better than what would be found inside the park. Even the service was just okay. But I wouldn't recommend this for a couple wanting a romantic night out. more

A step up from park food but not by much 7/18/2006

I was a bit disappointed in this restaurant. The indoor dining area had music playing too loud so we asked to sit outside. Outside you can hear the fireworks show but since the sound bounces off all the buildings around you it sounds more like a war zone. Sadly, you can't see the fireworks show from the outdoor dining area. I thought the food was ok. I was quite disappointed with my pasta dish that was supposed to be served with grilled vegetables. I could hardly find the vegetables! They were more like a garnish! We also got the pizza but that didn't seem to get rave reviews at our table either. Pros: patio dining Cons: too loud in indoor dining area more

Do not got there! 8/1/2005

My fiance and I were escorted to outside table, and waited for a server to come. Then we realized 4 or 5 groups who came to the restaurant after us were already served. So we asked one of the servers to have someone come over to our table to serve us. Then nobody came... The next day, I called the restaurant and asked for a manager. When I told her about what happend the day before, she said ""Who was your server? Oh! That's right, you did not have a server, and that's why you are calling. I am so sorry. I have to have more information to make this an official complaint. I hope you come back and have a different experience next time."" Do not go there, you may have a good time there, but they are not nice to everyone. Cons: service, handling of complaint, manager skill more
