We have been so impressed 8/1/2011

We have been so impressed with Discovery Point. I have ZERO guilt as a working mother because I know my son is being well taken care of. First and foremost, Daniel, the owner, and his wife are such sweet and loving people. I am not sure what the reviews below are talking about. Everyone here is excellent and they always know where my children are when I return to pick them up. They have taught my son countless things. He has great manners and he is always showing me new things he has learned. I would recommend Discovery Point to everyone. more

I am so thankful to have found them! 8/1/2011

I agree that this place is wonderful! The staff at Discovery Point has taken care of my daughter for the past 3 years. And I am so thankful to have found them! The place is always very clean, spacious and the staff is wonderful. I Always feel good about dropping her off. I know she is always being taken care of, well-fed, and has a blast as well. No other daycare, in my opinion, can compete with Discovery Point. The staff members take a good care of every child and they all put a lot of love and dedication into what they do. And it reflects on the kids. I would recommend this place to everyone who needs a safe place for his/her child. Thanks for everything! more

All A+'s from us!! 7/27/2011

Discovery Point is a WONDERFUL daycare provider. I can't say enough good things about them. We consider ourselves so lucky to have found someone so good to take care of our son. We did not want to use home daycare when we put our son in a daycare setting so we chose to go the daycare center route. And we are glad we did. Our son loves to go to daycare. He's been there 8 months now and I feel he has really grown socially, emotionally and his educational level in his time spent with his ""second family."" What more could you ask for from a daycare provider? All A+'s from us!! more

Not looking out for your children's best interest 12/30/2008

My child attended Discovery Point for almost 3 months. I thought the facility was great and the ladies taking care of my child seemed to do a great job. The issue we had was with the owner, she seemed rude, uncaring and we feel she wasn't looking out for the best interest of the children. Even though she didn't deal directly with the children, she makes the decisions about what goes on at the daycare and how its ran therefore we no longer thought our child should be under their care. The major issue we had with the day care was that RSV(Respiratory Virus) was apparantly going around in the infant room, my child was the 3rd one in the class (to my knowledge) to catch the virus. I called the school to notify them that I had taken my child to the doctor and had been diagnosed with the virus and they said it was contagious, so I wanted to let them know so they could notify other parents that there was a virus going around. My child could not attend daycare for 10 days due to the virus. During this time I checked in at the daycare periodically and with some parents to see if they posted a note or anything to let the parents know, plus I did not want my child going back and catching it again if other children had it and weren't aware that it was a virus and not just a cold or something. Not one time did they post anything or let the other parents know, and two other parents said that they let the daycare know as well once there child was diagnosed. We also found out that the teachers were aware that the virus was going around but were told not to tell the parents. I have a major problem with people trying to hide facts and information from me that can affect my childs health. You do not keep things like this from the parents, and why would a daycare purposely do this, aren't they suppose to have the children's best interest at heart??? more
