Discount Tire

I have been going to this store since it opened; always come back because of the prompt, curteous service.\r Admittedly, this particular store gets very busy, so I always go first thing on a mid-week day. Otherwise I know I'm going to wait forever.\r Whenever I see or hear someone who is upset about their experience, it is invariably due to their own unreasonable expectations or failure to understand their original agreement.\r The only reason I might change stores is because Discount is building a new one in Buckeye. There are lots of hi's and sometimes a "-'ll be right with you but all very insincere at best!! My last 4 recent visits concluded with me refunding my 300 tire and seeking service else where... I understand busy and I guess for now Discount has plenty of business (Price of goods) but like with any business price is never enough...my experience abriged is 1 tire replaced after leaving my car with them for 4 days; had to order tire retailer didn't have instock( understandable, BTW tire defective, not their fault )after they checked other tires sent me on my way,one week later blow out at 75 MPH, 8:45 at night between Gila Bend and Phx, highway 85; 2hrs later tow arrives.. Another story.Arrive Discount 8am.. Time # 2 explained about my tires for BMw are. Will only last 20K miles and I'm lucky to get that, that's mileage I had on the tires previously purchased at discount, the blown out tire was tagged defective and they replaced after charging me 60 dollars,"Certificate fee, for their free replacement policy", long, long story short gave them 569 dollars for 2 tires, first one they put on at 10am had to order the back came in same day said would call and tire for sure would be in by 1pm... No call went to shop at 1:30; tire hadn't arrived left came back 3:15 , tire arrived; they would get right with me, they didn't... Spoke to manager to wooried about defending instead of. Owning End of story lost a customer for life and anyone else I come in contact with...I will search for regional or corporate info on net.. This is the short version more

I have never recieved worse customer service anywhere than the Discount Tire in Goodyear. I brought my car in at 11:15 am and told them that I needed a new tire, they told me it would be 30 minutes so I sat down on a bench right outside their front door. An hour later I went to the counter to inquire about my car only to find that all they had done was determine that my tire could not be repaired (which I never asked them to do) and they had not yet put a new tire on the car (a process which took another hour). They had called my home phone to leave a message, going outside to inquire if the person outside the door was the person who was waiting on the car never occured to them. The tire which was damaged had been bought a year earlier at a Discount Tire in San Diego while on vacation, when I dropped the car off they were able to find it under my wife's cell phone number and told me there would be no charge to replace it. My husband and I have been going to this Discount Tires for over a year now and have always had a great experience. They rotate your tires, check your air pressure and fix your flat for free! I have purchased tires from them at a descent price. They do get busy but they should since people always come back. Staff is very friendly and professional. I would give 5 stars but a couple of times my rims were put back on dirty and even the inside door was left dirty but thats ok cause like i said they are busy and they give you free service! There is a new discount tires that just opened next to costco on 99th ave and Mcdowell. Maybe I will try that place next....Look for that review in about 6,000 miles. more

I went into discount tires just needing some new tires. I didnt have the money but they worked with me and my budget. I was able to get my new tires and was approved for fincacing this company is great. If you need new tires I recommond them. more

We have had great experiences with Discount tires. They go above and beyond your expectations. We had a flat tire and they not only gave us a used tire for free until we could afford a new one, but when we could afford a new one they gave us a discount. There was a long line ahead of us, but they were quick and we didnt wait as long as they estimated, which is always nice! more
