I asked questions, and got honest answers. I wasn't SOLD anything I just met with Rick Ellis about a roof and gutter job. I would like to start by saying Rick Ellis was the most up-front and honest contractor that Ive ever met. I asked questions, and got honest answers. I wasn't SOLD anything. ""This is what I think you need"". No Pressure, and the estimate was incredibly lower than I thought it would be. In addition, having the contractor/supervisor coming out and bidding the job instead of some suit-wearing salesman was very refreshing. I know sales tactics, I know how to sell, and I'm not dumb when it comes to construction. I played dumb, to try and get some honest answers and/or advice. I was pleasantly surprised when a Contractor showed up versus a sales person. Rick Ellis was a ""Normal Person"" that gave you honest advice. I started with a Roofing job, and talking like a normal person, Rick explained the Pro's and Con's of my situation. All along, worrying about ME and MY HOUSE... not his bottom line. I just got off the phone with him for the third time tonite, because I had questions.. he was absolutely willing to speak with me, even though I know he was ""Off the clock"". I just wanted to let someone know what a stand-up, straight-up, honest person He is. It is rather refreshing to speak to someone who listens instead of trying to SELL you something. Thank you for your time
