Discount Emissions-Auto Repair

I brought my vehicle in for a overheating problem. I was told they would charge me $75 dollars to diagnose the problem and that if I did the work there they would wave the diag fee. After about an hour I got a call saying the fan relay was bad and the rest of the system tested ok. About 45 min later I received another call saying that I needed to replace the fans and computer because the relay had shorted everything out which was gonna be a little over $800 Needing my car I agreed to have the work done. When I picked my vehicle up I asked for all the parts back. I had the fans tested and they worked fine. I also called to get a price on the parts and found that they charged me $60 more than I could've got them for. So much for taking that $75 off for diag there just adding it in elsewhere. I plan on contacting the BBB. more

I have and older (2004) Mercedes, was referred by a friend that they were very good with Mercedes, So I brought it in and They were incredible. My Car is running so nice now -they found that it was a plugged Valve, I asked them to do a complete tune up well I was in and I am just so happy, This is the first time my repairs were under 1500, (that for minor checkups) since I always brought it to dealer. I was very weary but, my friend said they are good and my cash is tight these days. So glad I listened to them! Under 700.00 for Everything from beginning to end- oh new front brakes too! It is not a fancy dealership but these guys are quality A+ in my book- Vehicle was done when they said it would be- I was very pleased with the price not the cheapest but way cheaper than the dealership and they were just great from beginning to end of job- I will be back1 They explained in detail what was being done, a scary experience turned out to be very good! I will recommend them to friends and family!! Pros: quality work, professional-very fair in price Cons: a little off the beaten path-well worth the find!! more
