Great Experience 11/2/2011

I was very uncomfortable about car shopping because my credit is not the best. I went to several car lots and got treated like crap!!! They would check my credit, show me the oldest piece of junk on the lot and tell me they would call me later and never did. Direct Auto Source treated me with respect and were very patience with my credit situation. I was shocked when they got me financed on a NICE! car I could afford. I ask them about the reviews I read on here and they said ""They where under new managment and there former staff had poor people skills."" LOL... more

Con Artists Horrible, junk vehicles No Titles 8/27/2011

I wouldn't go back if you paid me. Drove 2-trucks, one had a bad transmission, the others 4-wheel drive didn;t work. Most of the cars had check engine lights on. The owner, Ed is a scam artist. Tells you nothing is wrong with the car, then sells you an extended warentee and when you get home and find all the stuff wrong tells you to send it in to the warentee company. 2 customers have filled formal complants with the state of Michigan in the last 3 months. Also he dosen't have any titles for the vehicles on his lot which is illegal. The state of Michigan shut him down 2 months ago for not having titles to the cars. He put signs in the cars sying ""not for sale see sales man for details"" then when you ask the salesman they are for sale--Wow. When you buy a car you are to have the title before you leave. If they don't have the title don't accept any excuses-Do not sign anything unless you get the title. DON""T BUY HERE! If you have a problem and try and call and talk to him, he won't accept your call or return one. The place is a dump. And by the way, look at the comment by ""drive82"" .I'ts by one of his employees. Only a car salesman has a e-mail name of ""drive82""--Duh!!!! They only have 2-people who work there, but they have gone through 6-people in the last 4 months. Wow a 2,000% trunover rate. No one will work for the guy. more

Worst Car Dealership Ever!!!! 6/10/2011

If i could give this company 0 stars I would!!!!! They tried to sell me a scion tc which i was interested in purchasing but i hadn't seen the actual car yet. I called and asked about the vehicle and they said it ""wasn't there."" Confused, I inquired as to the reasoning behind this and it was because the owner was giving it to his fiance to drive around as her main vehicle!!! No reputable dealer gives someone a car to drive on a constant basis that is still up for sale and then calls it a one owner car. It was still for sale and everything and they were trying to sell it for the SAME price as they had listed it for before she started driving it!! Pre her added mileage and wear and tear on the car- they still felt it was worth the same dollar amount as before!! No one knew the actual mileage of the car either!!! They kept giving me estimates that were way below the actual number. It was a very dishonest dealership. Then when I called back and I told them i didn't feel comfortable purchasing it, they said Ed said they had ""taken it away from her because she was 'naughty.'"" I don't know what this means but it definitely did not help the situation. Then when I took a trip to the dealership to look at a different vehicle that I had called on the DAY before and was told it was available had apparently a week prior. They LIED to me and I am from out of town and spent a lot of gas money coming there. Both Ed and the other man I spoke with (the sales men) were both smoking while they spoke to me and were wearing baggy worn down jeans and old untucked tees. Not professional at all!!! They both spoke to me very rudely. Then they tried to sell me a Santa Fe that was clearly falling apart and for WAY over the KBB. At this point, after all this awful treatment, I simply left. They have no idea how to sell cars and do not understand the meaning of honestly. Avoid this place at all cost!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! more

Absolutely AWFUL 5/31/2009

This place is unbelievable. I bought the most expensive car on their lot....they assured me that nothing was wrong with it and nothing would go wrong and I was buying the nicest car they had...they sold it to me with a bent axle, not to mention the bent axle wasn't even the RIGHT axle that was supposed to be on the truck. I bought a Yukon XL and the axle that was on it was for a regular Yukon. When I went in to have them fix it, Gary the pervert just yelled in my face and he and the owner refused to do anything at all except replace a tire...which didn't have anything to do with the problem?? All they care about is money and I would NEVER ever recommend that anyone buy a vehicle from these pathetic people. Cons: Everything more

Great Service! 10/20/2008

Ed was great to work with - unlike other dealerships I've been to he wasn't pushy and was more helpful than anything. I've had my car for 6 months now and nothing has gone wrong with it. He even called me a few weeks after I had it to see how everything was. Very professional and the car I got blue booked for over $15,000, but I got a steal for less than $13,000! Delamar Car Company AKA Direct Auto Source 9/22/2008

I highly do NOT recommend using this dealer. He is shady, will not return calls after purchasing my vehicle. Vehicle has been in shop since I bought it with nothing but problems, which has cost me 2k so far. He knows he was in the wrong, as he knew it has problems. Also told me vehicle had full inspection, which it did NOT. I called dealer to verify. I traded in my vehicle and he still hasn't paid off that loan yet, which I'm responsible for. Service=horrible. He wanted to close the deal so bad when it was scorching hot in the office that he left the AC off. He proceeded to close the deal with a hug, against my busty chest and a kiss instead of a business handshake. Cons: Does not return calls since he knows vehicle had problems. Simply Ignoring me. more
