I'm a local/native and LOVE Dion's! It's my favorite pizza because it's not too greasy and the crust is neither thin nor super thick...just right! The salads are always fresh and...

Worst

This is a typical chain fast food pizza joint, with decent subs, pizza and salads, but not the best!

Very Overated 11/6/2002

New Mexican's seem to love Dion's. I have lived here for over 6 years now and I have figured out why. The salads and sandwiches are good and well worth it, but the pizza is just terrible. There is not much good pizza in Albuquerque, but I will have to say that Giovanni's is the best that I have had. Saggio's is a close second. more

Dion's has been around for as long as I can remember, and it's always been excellent. Sure they make mistakes from time to time but considering the volume of business they do it's incredible they can maintain their quality and service. These guys just keep getting better! more

As long as I can remember my family and I would have Dion's pizza on friday nights. Dion's has the best salads and green chile pizza's ever as long as they are well done(the pizza of course) Pros: filling, semi-inexpensive, good locations Cons: no delivery, crowded with teens, no free refills more

Not for NY italians 10/9/2002

Dion's is a chain whose workers range from 14 to about 18 years. These ""kids"" don't care, nor can they make pizza they way they used to when adults used to be hired. I have not gotten one right takeout order in the last 4 years, nor has the pizza been right - either burned or raw or wrong. Only the greek dressing is good. Pros: good parking, cheap Cons: slow service, too loud/crowded, takeout wrong more

I have never met any one who didn't like Dion's. They are the best of the best no doubt. Their pizza is great, their salads are fresh, their choices are good and they are always friendly. Any time I can that's where I go! Dion's yum!!! p.s. my kids ask for it too!!! Pros: good food, good prices, fun employees Cons: bathrooms need help, none in 87105 area more

Just the Way You Want It 7/22/2002

No matter what combination of toppings you need, desire, crave, or seek, you can find it here at Dions. Don't like sauce? No problem...just tell them. The pizza is phenomenal and the sandwiches are fabulous. This pizza place doesn't have to offer delivery...they are too busy with walk-in and carry-out to worry about trying to compete with the national chains. The drive to your local Dion's is well worth the trip! Pack up the family, order a pitcher of coke and let the little ones watch as the pizzas are tossed, prepared and baked on slate! more
