Worth the drive to Mesquite! 8/8/2012

I like to shop close to home but couldn't find anyone that could help me get my pool in to shape. I was facing a lot of issues. My water was always cloudy and greenish. I was having to refill the water level almost every day. When my kids and I swam, the water would sting our skin. It was getting to be a nightmare and I was about ready to fill it in with dirt.\r When I first walked in to Dickson Brothers, I couldn't believe how much stuff they had. I had no clue what I needed. They tested my water for free and gave me written instructions with the equipment and products I needed to clear things up. Everything worked exactly as they said. I am completely impressed with their knowledge and eagerness to help me. I am so thankful. \r After visiting their Koi pond out back, I've fallen in love with the idea of having a pond of my own. That's my next project! I can't wait! I'm a devoted Dickson customer. The drive to Mesquite is a pleasure I look forward too! more

A great pond and pool place 8/4/2012

I heard about Dickson Brothers from listening the the Neil Sperry radio show and decided to drive over. WOW! They have A LOT of stuff for my pond. I was doing a lot of stuff wrong, but not any more. An employee named Steve took time with me about my pond and sold me a properly sized filter and UVC which was easy to install and cleared my pond water right up. I haven't lost any more fish and my pond looks great. \r \r They really know what they are talking about. I will be going back to buy fish and some water lilies. They have the best pond plants in town. Plus they make you feel like they are glad you are there. You can tell they enjoy their jobs and they like to help people with their ponds. They even told me I didn't need a product I was going to buy because it would not solve my problem. I bought what Steve told me to and am very glad I did. \r \r I recommend Dickson Brothers. They also sell swimming pool stuff and if I had one, this would be where I'd go for anything. C more

bad service 9/12/2011

i would not recommend this place, i went to try an purchase some parts for my swimming pool pump, no one ask if they could help me, there was several guys at the counter talking among themselves, i was standing around for about 10 minutes and not one person asked if they coulds help, i even went to the back where there was another counter where there was 2 men there just standing around, i was right in front of them, not even an acknowledgement. not a i will be right with u or nothing.. i decided to go to sunshine pools where i was treated with courtesy and they was very helpful. i would never recommend dickson brothers and i have several family members and nieghbor who have pools or saunas in their homes.. bad service !!!!! or actually no service !!! more

Dickson Brothers helped me out a lot 5/12/2007

I have been a customer of Dickson Brothers for a very long time, because of their exceptional knowledge about pools and koi ponds. Because I have both a pool and a pond, it is important to me to have a place where I know I can get whatever I need when I need it, at incomparable prices. The people that work there are always courteous and patient, as well as able to assist you with whatever you need. Before I began shopping at Dickson Brothers, I was buying all of my chemicals at Leslies Pools, and ordering my pond equipment online. The people at Leslies kept conning me into buying things I didn?t need, and I couldn?t ever talk to a pond specialist over the internet so they could tell me exactly what I needed. Dickson Brothers solved all of my water problems, and for five years now I have trusted them with both my pool and my children (Koi). \r Last year I had a much harder time than usual keeping my pool clear, because of the algae. When I started my pond building business, I went to Dicksons and spoke to them about getting my supplies from them. They set me up with a business account with discounts on my purchases. They are very knowledgeable and helpful. They have helped me solve many pond problems in the past three years. more

Not for people on a budget. 5/17/2005

Dickson Brothers is highly priced for unnecessary work. I had them come out to simply check out my pool pump and not only did they not fix my problem but I was overcharged for the visit. The act as if they know everything but the technician I had knew nothing but how to swindle. PROS: They are well supplied with materials. CONS: They tend to talk down to you and watch out they will attempt to swindle! more
