We have had 2 different problems with our Honda and he got both of them fixed in a VERY timely manner, at a reasonable price, and exactly when he promised he would have the car fixed--it was fixed!! I love my little '91 acura integra and I get the feeling DiMauro's does too. I was having trouble getting my car started so I brought it to a repair shop next door to my apartment. Convenient, right? Not really, they got the car started but said they couldn't find anything wrong with it. They didn't charge me anything, but that didn't help 2 days later when the car wouldn't start again. So I did some research and found some amazing reviews for DiMauro's. Described my issue to Robert on the phone and my stress level took a nose dive. Got the car towed 20 miles (thanks Geico!) to DiMauro's and was back on the road within a couple of hours. So if you own a honda or acura, I highly recommend them. Oh yeah, and they're super nice. Ok, let me put it this way....I needed to buy a new car...my family MADE me get a Honda because of Robert Di Mauro...my entire family owns Honda's just because of him...He is almost a myth, the honest mechanic, who knows what to do, does NOT charge you for services you don't need, and will call you if there is a problem...I drive 300 miles round trip , from Laguna Beach to Goleta just so he can service my Honda Element...that's how good he really is.....and oh yeah...he looks EXACTLY like Jim Carrie......lol..oh, and that other lady was right, there are not enough stars here to give him the rating he deserves.... Pros: The best mechanic I have ever met Cons: no cons...well...ok...I need to drive 150 miles to go to him more

I have a 09 Civic that is under warranty -- it developed an annoying rattling noise that seemed near the front driver side tire --- I took the car twice to the Honda dealership that ""couldn't find anything wrong"" and ""couldn't hear it"" --- I decided to pay to get this resolved -- Robert not only heard it right off --- he was determined to find the cause which was not easy-- needless to say he found the problem and fixed it for a very reasonable amount. I plan on taking my car to him here on out. He is a very mild mannered, pleasant, honest person. Pros: great mechanic - very pleasant honest person more

Mr. Dimauro is a wonderful mechanic. He deserves 10 stars. I've been taking my Honda to him for four years now. He/his staff have always correctly diagnosed any problems, have done excellent repairs, and are consistently less expensive than I expect. I've even taken my car to Mr. Dimauro a couple times when he diagnosed a problem, told me it wasn't a big deal and he wouldn't fix it if he were me, and then did not charge me for his time! He's a very decent person, and knows a lot about Honda's. I think I'll purchase a Honda again when I am ready for a new car, just so I can continue to take my car to him. I didn't think mechanics like this existed, but here he is. Robert DiMauro of DiMauro Honda is an honest mechanic. Each and every time I've come to him, he has given me an honest and accurate appraisal of the repair(s). He has an unbelievable pleasant personality, which is rare in a mechanic of his caliber, and his caliber is indeed high. He has accurately diagnosed the issue with my Honda each and every time, consistently UNDERcharged me (to the point where I actually feel guilty sometimes) and has the fastest turnaround time I've ever seen.
