I was becoming a godmother for the first time, they showed me the most beautiful christening dresses in the world. I was got my god daughter a gold bar pin with the guardian angel, a cross, and a very pretty rosary. I then went back for a mothers day gift. And got real pretty candles for a mom and grandmom. I LOVE this store, I tell everyone about it. Pros: They had everything I needed in stock. Cons: Not enough hours in the day to look at everything they have. more

Old stock from the 1970'S 7/19/2009

Hardware Store for the Soul 2/22/2008

It's about a 40 minute trek to St. Judes from my home in Wilmington DE and always worth taking the time. They have a wonderful selection of books and music and inspirational items...I could spend some serious time just looking...kind of like a hardware store for the soul! Several times I've been on a ""mission"" to find something needed for a Bible study (their selection of Bible studies has been a favorite source for our group) or an item recommended by a friend, and if it wasn't immediately available, the staff was helpful in finding it or offering to order and ship it. I always looks forward to a trip to St. Jude's and recommend it as a place to enrich your spiritual journey. Pros: Variety, Quality, Service, Parking Cons: A trek from Wilmington DE more

Horrible 2/7/2008

Store looks great! Lots of pretty shiny things. Service was terrible. While I did observe a clerk (with an accent) who was very sweet. The older woman who helped me was not friendly, it seemed like I was bothering her. I asked to speak with the owner and was lied to. I have left messages with the owner and he does not return calls. Very very very bad service. For a Christian shop, you would expect soooo much more. DO NOT SHOP HERE more
