Dezart is not TOTALLY gone 6/20/2011

The BEST remains. Downs,.. one of the ex-partners of Dezart, is still at Backstreet. He's taken over the former studio space of the gallery. It's called StudioD & it's all his own work . Amazing contemporary art that you won't find anywhere else in the desert. And he's such a nice guy, down to earth, helpful and not pushy at all. more

I just heard Dezart One Gallery has closed. I'm so sorry to hear that. I've been buying art from the gallery for years. The people that worked with me were always professional and helped me pick some great art. more

Fantastic Gallery, Wonderful Service, Great Selection! 3/10/2011

Found this Gallery when I was downtown in Palm Springs by sheer accident. Looking for art for my living room, and the gentleman there named Downs was so helpful and knowledgeable, and knew exactly what I wanted and got me the piece that was just perfect. It now sits in my living room where I can admire it every day. Thanks! Dezart One for your fabulous taste in artists! and experience in Art more

Amateur is an Accurate Description 2/2/2011

My experience was that the person who approached me (who said her name was ""Kim"" and I suspect may be the same person who wrote the glowing review here), was very confident about what I wanted. Forget the fact that she didn't look at the photos I brought with me and chuckled when I showed her a wall fabric swatch I wanted to compliment. She kept pulling out painting after painting from a back room without any real grasp of my needs. This one employee needs to learn to listen before running about trying to guess what the client wants. I gave up. Certainly not ""horrid"", just very frustrating and not very helpful. I found a magnificent salesperson a few feet away at another gallery. more

the most innovative, compemporary & modern art gallery in the entire desert! they represent over 20 different artists from around the country and the selection is just fabulous! the sales team are very knowledgable & friendly and offered me a cold bottle of water as soon as i walked in. you will completely enjoy the entire art experience! more

Well below average art experience! 9/6/2010

Was in this gallery last month and was greeted by the saleswoman. She was a nervous little woman who insisted I buy a work that was neither the color I was looking for, nor the subject matter I cared about. Ironically I was shopping for a client who is a boutique hotel owner in Phoenix and was ready to purchase over 50 original works, but the woman left me the feeling she didn't care what I wanted and when I was leaving in frustration, she laughed nervously and said I was wasting her time. No, I won't be going back. Horrid. more

Best Art in the Valley! 8/25/2008

GREAT Gallery. DesertStyle, you MUST be confusing with another Gallery! No one representing Gallery is CLOSE to your description! Been collecting their art for yrs. ALL involved in Gallery are OVERLY friendly, willing to spend lots time talking about art. Owners PASSIONATE about art; would never force anyone to buy. It's VERY personal to them! SHAME on you for painting a picture of this Gallery that is NOT reality! Pros: Amazing art, great ambience, friendly, knowledgeable staff Cons: More parking for the large crowds at events more

Art Fair 7/12/2008

The quality of the artwork displayed (and we have stopped by 3-4 times so far) is more 'art fair' than 'art gallery'. Very amateurish at best. Pros: Easy parking Cons: Amateurish artwork more
