Good food but watch your change!! 12/15/2012

The food here is very good and the atmosphere is authentic. However, I have repeatedly been shorted on my change. Every time I go through the check out line, I am always shorted by a reasonale amount of money ( either $5,$10 or even $20 at a time), but if you catch it at the check out line they will give you back your money.. HHHMMM I know for a fact I am not the only one this has happened too. My grandmother and friends have also been shorted at the checkout line!! This has caused a number of people I know to no longer go there. If you are willing to watch the checkout girl and your change like a hawk, then by all means its a nice Italian store. more

Great Place 12/14/2010

This place speaks for itself. I never have a problem here and I plan to come back forever. I have recommended this place to everyone I know. The employees are great and helpful. The prices are fair and the products are nice. If you haven't visited Devitis then you don't know what you are missing. more

Must Visit on an Empty Stomach 11/22/2005

This incredible find in North Akron off of Tallmadge Avenue is certainly a must on your quest for superior Italian grocery items as well as homemade frozen and fresh entrees. Their deli is second to none and don't forget to try their fresh Italian sausage. The true test is that my Italian inn-laws from NYC think it's fabulous! Favorites to carry out are the lasagna roll ups, three bean salad and tirimisu. Their produce is also exceptional. Each day they have a special also. Ironically, this is the best place to get Chicken paprikash! PROS: Fresh, Delicious! Excellent Customer Service CONS: None more

Everything is always fresh and tastes great. They even offer frozen entree's that they make themselves which are great for an italian meal when you are in a hurry. It's a great place and their baked goods are so good. PROS: Always fresh, average prices,large selection CONS: more

Yummy! 9/21/2005

Devitis has the best italian food around here. You can go in and get stuff to take home and eat or you can order right there for a light lunch. Their antipasto salad is awesome. There food is freshly baked and then frozen for your convenience to take home and heat up right in your own oven. Definitely a must to stop by this place! more

Nice italian store 9/8/2005

Its a great store which you can also eat there. Its sure a gourmet shop and its delis are good too. As a student myself I can still afford the price of the meal there and its really a place you should bring you friend. more
