Design Pools of East Texas

Both my wife and I very impressed with the quality and with the design of our pool built by Design Pools of East Texas. We had an upscale swimming pool built this Summer at our lake home. They were alwasy ontime and alwasy professional. I have read all of the reviews on this company and after meeting the owner I choose this company, Design Pools of East Texas as several of our friends (Lawyers, Doctors and Judges) have also had quality swimming pools built by Design Pools of East Texas. The Owner John Burnett was there on the job from start to finish and we have became friends through thie pool building construction. We have another home in Dallas and our pool construction will begain this Fall. That will be our second swimming pool by this company and I have no complaints. This is the 2nd pool we have had designed and built by Design Pools. We had one built several years ago and had a very good experience with the company, products and swimming pool. We recently moved and built a new home in Athens and used Design Pools again. The pool looks stunning, everything went as planned and we have had no problems at all. This builder is a liar, and a crook he took my money and started my pool in april of 2009 told me it would take 6 weeks to complete . it is march of 2010 and you guessed it my pool is still not complete ..the coping around the edges is busting and my pump doesn't work properly my deck is cut out so he could repair his mistake and he will not return phone calls and even had his number changed. needless to say i had to hire another company to come and finish the job and hired an attorney to try and recoup the money for repairs on the pitiful job he tried to do. he is a drunk and is on probation for DWI. he is not responsible or reliable DONT use them you will be sorry. he doesn't know what he is doing. hope you can find a company with good references and check with the BBB I am so sick when i think of all the money i paid him and i cant even use my pool. now i have to take him to court. dont end up like me.
