I can agree with the other reviewers, the clinic is clean, the waiting times minimal, and the staff is pleasant. BUT the vet didn't want me or any of my information to be part of ...

We want to thank Dr. Haugo for understanding my financial situation at this time. We appreciate your kindly ordering Preva the eye med. We bought distilled H2O & will thoroughly flush out her eye first just in case there is a foreign object embedded somewhere. If her eye is still watering next week, well schedule formal exam with you. Thank you for being a TRUE Humanitarian doctor of Vet Medicine. more

Fantastic 6/20/2011

This place does a fantastic job, every vet I have seen there is kind and really loves the animals. I had to bring in my little puppy for an emergency visit and they were extremely fast acting from the moment I walked in. This place is kinda on the pricey side but you definately get what you pay for. more

I absolutely love this clinic 6/17/2011

I absolutely love this clinic. I took my animals here for 3 years until I moved to San Diego and have not found any clinic close to there standards. The Doctors and staff truly care about you and your pets. I know they are a bit pricier than the other clinics in town, but you truly pay for what you get. There service is exemplary and they practice state of the art medicine in rural AZ. Dr. Haugo is a wonderful Doctor and a great human being and she TRULY cares for my animals and really seems to connect. I would recommend this clinic to ANYONE and can only hope that I find a clinic here in SD with half the honesty, education and caring staff as DVC. more

wouldnt go anywhere else but here 6/13/2011

I was new in town and my 4 year old Chihuahua was going into labor. She was in labor for the longest time until she stopped pushing. I called around and NO ONE wanted to see us. Being new I hadn't made an appointment anywhere yet. Desert Vet's staff and Doctors took me in without hesitation. Although tests took forever. Ollie had two healthy babies after a c-section. Although costly the standard of care was amazing and I wouldn't go anywhere else but here. more

Desert Vet is a great place to go if you care for your pet. They literally saved the life of our dog. They take the time to explain your options, and do not push a lot of unnecessary procedures. The staff are kind, and their love of animals truly shows. more

relaxed and comfortable 6/6/2011

Been bringing my cats to Desert Vets since 1989, and have NEVER had any trouble with the staff or the cost of services. They have always treated my furbabies with the utmost respect, loving and making them feel relaxed and comfortable. I will continue to take them to THEIR favorite doctor. more
