I can agree with the other reviewers, the clinic is clean, the waiting times minimal, and the staff is pleasant. BUT the vet didn't want me or any of my information to be part of ...

Dr Waples, saved my Boston. She never gave up. Her compassion for me and my dog was wonderful. She is definitely in the right line of work. Also the staff was more than helpful during our time of need. more

I want to thank the staff and Dr. Waples for all the care and understanding that you gave to Miss Daisy for me, she was my girl, I only had her for eight years, when I adopted her in 03 when I moved here from another state, I was told to put her down because she was sick and I said no and she got another eight years of life and eight years of love she gave me, we were like glue, we had to know where each other was and by her instincts she always knew where I was inside or outside of the house or visa versa, she never anted to leave my side no matter what, for being a Disable Veteran, Daisy was the best therapy for me. Dr. Green and Dr. Black told me back two years ago if Daisy got this sickness again she would not live and she knew that she would not come home again because of her pain, she walked with pride to the last. Debby at Paws and Claws on 8th street is looking for another girl for me and when i get her, I wish to have Dr. Waples as the Doctor. Thank you so much! more

We've worked with many veterinarian hospitals over the years, and Desert Veterinary is the very best. You're honest, extremely knowledgeable, and open to the non-traditional moralities that are so important to us. We want to thank Dr. Haugo for understanding my financial situation at this time. We appreciate your kindly ordering Preva the eye med. We bought distilled H2O & will thoroughly flush out her eye first just in case there is a foreign object embedded somewhere. Fantastic 6/28/2011

This place does a fantastic job, every vet I have seen there is kind and really loves the animals. I had to bring in my little puppy for an emergency visit and they were extremely fast acting from the moment I walked in. This place is kinda on the pricey side but you definately get what you pay for. more

Care was amazing 6/15/2011

I was new in town and my 4 year old Chihuahua was going into labor. She was in labor for the longest time until she stopped pushing. I called around and NO ONE wanted to see us. Being new I hadn't made an appointment anywhere yet. Desert Vet's staff and Doctors took me in without hesitation. Although tests took forever. Ollie had two healthy babies after a c-section. Although costly the standard of care was amazing and I wouldn't go anywhere else but here. more

Saved Puppet's life! 6/9/2011

Desert Vet is a great place to go if you care for your pet. They literally saved the life of our dog. They take the time to explain your options, and do not push a lot of unnecessary procedures. The staff are kind, and their love of animals truly shows. more

Long & Excellent History 6/3/2011

Been bringing my cats to Desert Vets since 1989, and have NEVER had any trouble with the staff or the cost of services. They have always treated my furbabies with the utmost respect, loving and making them feel relaxed and comfortable. I will continue to take them to THEIR favorite doctor. more
