I had an Ibanez prestige RG2550 on layaway at ""GUITAR CENTER"" for two weeks and went to pick it up to only find out it was sold!!! So i got my money back and went to ""DESERT GUITARS"" and they had the same guitar for alot less!!!! ,and brand new with no scratches these guys are great and it came with a free setup! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! more

What a TERRIBLE guitar shop. I went in 2 weeks before my birthday (so middle of Oct), to put a deposit on a special Orange amp. 5 months went by with ME calling THEM every week to find out the status of my order. LIES LIES AND BS!!! Pat is the owner and Frank is his ""run-around"" guy. NOT ONCE did they call me back, even though EVERY TIME they told me THEY would. Pat WILL NOT return calls, or even be 'available' to talk to. I finally told them that I wanted my money back, and I got even MORE lies and bs!! It took another month of crap to get a check back from them for my deposit. After reading other reviews on the web, I discovered that they are NOTORIOUS for taking deposits and not delivering products. They will not be receiving any more of my business, and I will be telling anyone who asks about that shop, to STAY AWAY. BUYER BEWARE!! more

This store was formerly ""Pats Desert Music"". Worst music store in town. Pats had to change their name and move to a new location because of Better Business Bureau complaints. Check out the reviews for Pats on Yelp before you buy from this place. more

Bought new guitar and accessories from them. Was told time after time guitar was shipped. Finally received. However, I received no purchase receipt and they are not an authorized dealer, so the warranty is no good. more
