My dog pretends she doesn't want to go to daycare, but once she gets in there she is happy as can be and plays for hours. I trust the staff to take good care of her. She has furry friends there too. Stella has stayed for several days on a couple of occasions and she comes back happy and well; just like she was when I left her. The cost is reasonable and it's much better than coming home to a cooped up bored dog. Try it, you will love it. more

Desert Dog Daycare’s environment is quiet and clam—not the usual barking, agitated dogs I’ve seen in other daycare facilities. The staff has been consistently kind and appropriate in their interactions with my dog—and he is a large, exuberant puppy! The staff carefully screens each dog and takes special care to provide a safe, healthy environment. My dog is always very happy to arrive at the daycare and shows great affection for each staff member. Both of us would highly recommend this business!\r more

i really love sending my dog to desert dog. he has a ton of fun, gets exhausted every time he goes, and its a safe place to send him. he is so excited to go he cant sit still and so tired when he leaves he falls asleep in the car every visit. more

We have been sending our dogs to Desert Dog Daycare for years and they absolutely adore it. They know exactly what days they go and they will sit by the door anxiously waiting for us to get ready and take them. The facility is clean and safe for the dogs. They are very strict and cautious when bringing in new dogs to assure the safety of your animals. The staff is extremely friendly and they have a true love for all of the animals there. I have never been to a dog daycare that is as fantastic as this! more

Desert Dog is truly the BEST doggy daycare I have ever had the pleasure of working with! The staff is exceptional! They are incredibly friendly, easy to work with, and have a true love for the pups. The facilities are clean and comfortable. The strict acceptance criteria ensures a safe and fun place for the dogs to play all day. The icing on the cake is their competitive prices. Best Dog Daycare in the country! 1/24/2012

We were referred to Desert Dog Daycare by someone a few years ago when our dog was just a puppy and he has been going there ever since he was old enough to attend. They have a perfect facility with a giant indoor area and a great outdoor area for the dogs to run and play. Their location is easily accessible off of the freeway and is only minutes from downtown. The owners are incredible with dogs and go above and beyond to make us feel comfortable leaving our dog (child) at daycare. They also have webcams (dogcams) to check in on our little buddy when we are at home or work. Our 3 year old Wheaten Terrier loves to go to daycare because of his good experiences at Desert Dog and was the perfect place to socialize him when he was young. We now travel extensively with our dog and have not found a better facility or staff anywhere in the country. When we are back in Salt Lake we love having Desert Dog available for our daycare needs. We highly recommend them. You won't be disappointed. more

We love all their services..the daycare,boarding & baths. My dogs always return happy & tired. The staff know each dog's name & personality. They provide individualized attention & it's easy to see they really care. The package deals are wonderful & help save some $$$. It is close to freeway which makes it easily accessible. The staff are friendly too:) We love it there! more

Best Doggy Daycare Around 9/18/2011

This is a great place to leave my Siberian Husky to play. She's 13, and walks in like an old lady, but comes bounding out at the end of the day like a puppy. Great people who you can tell really love the dogs. It's a nice additional perk that they offer services like having a vet come to give required vaccinations, trim toenails, bathe etc. Not to mention the webcam, so our daughter can see her dog sometimes from her place in Chicago! So glad we found Desert Dog. more

THE BEST!!! 8/31/2011

DDDC has the cleanest faciltiy in Utah. My dogs love it here, can hardly wait to get inside. The cameras are great because I can watch all day at work. They have pools, fans, and many others things to keep the dogs cool during the summer. The dogs are supervised at all times and come home with a smile on their face!!!!!!! I know that I never have to worry about my dogs while they are at DDDC. AND......not only for day care. They also have a wonderful boarding facility. When I go out of town the dogs stay at DDDC and I know that they are safe, well cared for, and all of their needs are met. They are in large runs, not small cages. Don't think about going anywhere else. more

Worth every dollar!! 8/25/2011

I can't say enough good things about Desert Dog Daycare! I brought my dogs here for the first time three years ago when the yard was under construction. We were all hooked and have been going back ever since. The staff has always been friendly and knowledgeable. The facilities are clean and full of doggy entertainment (like swimming pools in the summer). But most of all, I love that I never have to worry when my dogs are here. I know that they are safe and well cared for and will have a great time. They always come home relaxed and exhausted. I have recommended Desert Dog to every person I know with a dog! Warning: ""Dogcam"" can be addictive. more

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THIS PLACE!! 5/31/2011

I have taken my dog Boozer to Desert Dog once a week for about five months now and we both absolutely love it. Boozer gets so exited in the mornings when we are driving there. And at night when I pick him up he is exhausted from having so much fun all day with the other dogs. The staff is amazing and they are wonderful with Boozer, and he loves them. It?s comforting knowing that they have an interview process with all the dogs to make sure that they are not aggressive with the other dogs and that they will play well with others. I also love that I can get on to Desert Dogs website and watch Boozer play with his buddies all day. I recommend this daycare to anyone and everyone! more

doggie social club 5/29/2011

who would ever believe my dog is a social maven. Bru gets so excited as we turn the car into Desert dogs parking area, she knows it's time to get active and social. She will soon be in a safe, clean secure place and among a staff that loves and cares. It is so nice to look at the webcam site and see my dog so happy. If child daycare were run this well, more mothers would go to work. more

Just like home!!! 3/9/2011

Doggy Day Care at it's best. Our guys have been welcomed at DDDC since the first year in business. For 5 years the boys tails wag getting out of the truck and can hardly wait to go see their friends inside, canine and human. The owners and employees take your pets care and safety very seriously; there is always someone with your pets. I honestly do not know what I would do without the love and concern extended to our guys. I am given such peace of mind knowing that they are well taken care of, supervised, and loved. What more could I ask. And then the special treats like cookies to take for the ride home, video cameras to watch the daily fun, birthday parties, Santa Claus, and bathes, well I like the bathes. more

Absolutely Best ever! 3/2/2011

I Have been taking my Mini Labradoodle there since day 1! This is the only place she knows other than home, and is so excited to go there and to be around people who treat her so well. They have a true Love of animals. I couldn't imagine taking her anywhere else. I recently got another dog (Golden) she is only 7 months old and taking them here is the best thing ever for them. The socialization they get with dogs and the care and attention they receive is Phenomenal. The Lobby, community dog area, and dog runs, are constantly kept up and cleaned ( you can watch them on the web cam!) Would highly recommend to anyone! Thank you so so much for taking such great care of my dogs! more

I highly recommend this place to everyone I know 3/1/2011

My dogs love Desert Dog and so do I. They go five days a week for about 10 hours and they come home happy, tired and ready for a nice evening at home. When the daycare my dog had been going to for 10 years closed, I am grateful to have found Desert Dog. My older dog has been going there five days a week for 2 years and she is in great shape for her age. When she is not relaxing in the sun in the outside yard, she is very active playing with and and bossing around all the other dogs (after all she is a princess). I also have a puppy and when she hit the Desert Dog door, she thought she has died and gone to heaven. She can't wait to get out of the car and into the place and then she dances all over when she sees the people who work there. It is truly a great relief to have someplace safe and fun for my babies to hang out during the day while I am at work. Thanks Desert Dog for enriching my and my dogs lives. more

Betty Loves Desert Dog! 2/27/2011

Betty Loves Desert Dog! The Desert Dog owners and staff really treat my dog, Betty, like their own. The facility itself is always very clean and smells like pumpkin! I love seeing how excited Betty gets when I drop her off. One of my favorite features is that I can watch Betty play with the rest of the 'pack' from the viewing room on site or from the webcams online. I've recommended DD to all my friends who have dogs, and they are so complimentary of DD as well. I really appreciate everything they do to care for my baby girl. This is truly a special place. more

Rosie (my dog) smiles from ear to ear when she goes to DD! 2/27/2011

We love this place. I 100% trust DD to take care of Rosie (my dog). We have been loyal customer for years. They treat her as one of her own. I don't think that this is special treatment either. I think this is how they treat all of their ""pack"". The staff and owners are always friendly and happy to see Rosie. The dog areas, lobby, restroom and viewing area are always clean. The dogcams are great. I can sneak a peak whenever I want to see what's going on. But the best thing I can say about DD is that Rosie really loves it there. She is always tired and happy when she comes home and she always looks forward to going back. Thanks DD! more
