I had liposuction done with vaser and smartlipo on my belly, sides and thighs. I love the results. I thought the doctor was very thorough and worked very hard to give me the best possible results. I couldn't be happier. I have even lost a significant amount of weight (12 pounds) despite being warned that I might not loose much weight at all. I felt everyone was very caring and honest. They called me numerous times to follow up with me. My husband was also very happy with the whole experience as he was the one dropping and picking me up. When my friends look at me now I am excited to tell them to go to Dr. Gupta. I highly recommend this practice. It is solid. Pros: professional, honest, caring more

I came to see Dr. Gupta also based on all the positive comments on the internet. She definitely lives up to them. She is warm and friendly and has a great eye for making the right recommendations. She is an artist with her hands. She looks at me as if I'm a piece of art she is creating. I feel extremely comfortable in her hands and fully confident in her abilities. I had laser treatment for my brown spots and facial veins which have nicely diminished. I also had a ton of sun damage on my chest, neck and arms which now look amazing. We also did skin tightening from which I saw immediate results to my amazement. I also had some fillers. I was initially scared of the fillers but am so extremely happy I trusted Dr. Gupta's advise. It has made a world of difference and my face actually looks slimmer and younger. I am scheduled to have my outer thighs and belly fat removed next and can't wait for that. I went to see Dr. Gupta based on reviews here, and on her education. I have melasma, and had decided to go to the best Dr. I could find. Dr. Gupta looked at me across a dimly lit room and said I needed 2k worth of Cosmelan peels. If you check reviews on Cosmelan, you will find that they changed their formula 2 years ago and it is now worthless. Also I have sensitive skin and turn red very easy, acid peels weren't for me. So I paid 1500 for 3 BBL's. The first two went fine, but I tired of the hard-sell of expensive products. It was worse than the cosmetic's ladies at the mall.\r At the third BBL she used a stronger filter, and turned up the settings very high (why?) I now look like I sprayed fake tanner all over my face, turn brick red when I try to use any of the $500.00 worth of products I bought, and have some scars on my chin (where there was no melasma) from burns. Of course the office denied it was burns. Also spots that had gone away came right back, as well as looking like dirt was splattered on my face. I also have painful flushing. The cure suggested for this by one of her estheticians? Cosmelan, loaded with acid. \r I have had more IPL's than I can count, by a nurse, and have never had a burn or any problems. I am going back to my nurse to try her new BBL, at least I can trust her and she knows what she is doing. Dr. Gupta did not. I felt very comfortable at Dr. Gupta's office. She made recommendations that made sense for me. I love what she has done for me. My friends are giving me tons of compliments. Even strangers are telling me I have great skin, a compliment I am receiving for the first time in my life, She definitely knows what she is doing and I have full confidence in her. She is the only doctor I will trust for my skin. Price was actually less than another place I visited. I feel extremely well taken care of and the staff is just delightful. My son had multiple laser resurfacing treatments by this doctor, and he just loves her. Due to his condition, he required multiple treatments, which, in the end, have yielded spectacular results. We are all amazed by her work.\r \r She always waves and smiles at me when I bring him in for a visit. She is very beautiful and has a wonderful personality. I would recommend her to anyone. more

I had a really good experience too. My friend referred me and went with me for my first consultation. Everyone took the time to really know my situation and what I was looking for. It's not just about price and equipment but also skill and compassion which helps the doctor treat you better. Ultimately you get what you pay for and I have to say it has been really worth it. I get a lot of compliments as does my friend. I had gone to another doctor before for the fraxel laser treatment. He charged half of what I paid here but after his treatment (which was done by a nurse), I was hardly even pink or swollen. The procedure had taken all but five minutes. After Dr. Gupta's treatment (performed by her personally and which took more like 30 minutes), I could tell how much more thorough the treatment was and indeed, I got much better results. It's not worth settling for mediocrity or cheap prices. I also got fillers which I love. In the longrun, I am way ahead! and so Happy!! With the results I have experienced thus far with my acne scars and facial trauma scar after receiving treatment from Dr. Gupta and her staff, cost is moot. I honestly didn't think it was possible for me to have such results, based on the severity of my condition. No complaints here. Dr. Gupta is very sweet and professional, as are her staff. When you go to see her, you need to ask her, ""What do you think would be the most effective treatment for my condition?"" If it doesn't fit your budget, ask about an alternative. Like reviewer ""unimpressed"" I too felt compelled to take the time and warn of my bad experience. I waited over 2 hours for my appointment with no apology or reason as to why it was taking so long. Finally she rushed in, talked with me for a few seconds on what procedure I was there for, and then rushed me off to another room, where I waited for another half hour. When she finally came in, she had forgotten to turn on the equipment so more minutes of waiting. When the procedure was done, I went to the front to pay. Instead of the $500 dollar charge, they said I owed $1,000 because Dr. Gupta did a longer session! I refused to pay it saying that I had only asked for the $500 session time. After much discussion, they agreed to the $500. They did try to blame me saying that I should have stopped her after 15 minutes! I informed them that I did discuss this with her prior to the start of the session. Personally I think she was in such a rush, she didn't know how long I was suppose to have treatment. To top it all off, the results were poor (no noticeable difference). I would recommend taking your time and money to a different place. Cons: poor service and results more

I had Smartlipo and Vaser for my tummy and sides. I love my results. My babyfat is finally gone and my tummy is nice and flat. There was no pain, hardly any bruising and the recovery was easier than I thought it would be. I am back in a bikini and feeling awesome. I came in had melasma and wrinkles. I have been other places but just seemed not the places for me. I was referred to Dr. Gupta by my doctor and some friends that got great results. The cost was just slightly more expensive but I am a new me and it was worth every penny! The staff was wonderful even though I was really nervous they walked me through from the beginning to end and called me to make sure I was doing well and had no questions. I've had great results. The staff is very caring and friendly. I had multiple procedures and they worked hard to make it work with my crazy work schedule. All my friends tell me how great I look. I had acne scars that are virtually gone. My wrinkles are gone. My skin is smooth and tight. My skin has beautiful glow. I will be a patient for life. My sister saw me after a long time this weekend in New Jersey and wants to be a patient too. For the amount of work I had done, I felt it was extremely worth every penny and more. I would not typically take the time to do something like this (review), but I stumbled across this site while browsing online for dermatologists and I felt compelled to comment on my experience at The Dermatology Laser and Vein Center. After a consultation with Dr. Gupta, she told me what could be done with my facial condition and quoted an eye-popping price for a series of three identical ?procedures?. \r \r Dr. Gupta had a pleasant, laid-back demeanor however, I came away neither impressed nor unimpressed with the initial consultation. Given the credentials she advertises, and simply to save my valuable time -- I ended up going forward. Unfortunately or me, it became increasingly unimpressive from that point on, and ultimately it finished up as a significant waste of my money and complete waste of my time. \r \r I totally agree with another reviewer here -- I could never tell that she genuinely cared about helping, and in retro-respect it certainly seemed that she just saw the dollar signs. And during each of my procedural experiences with her -- each time presented a variable that had me scratching my head. I chose to use Dr. Gupta after reading good reviews on her, she was everything but professional. She never took the time to even touch or examine my daughters face, who is only 14 years of age. Her first recommendation was for her to have some facial peels. She was kind of on the rude side and I could not tell that she actually cared about helping. I think she just sees dollar signs. I have been very happy with the care I have received from Dr. Shalini Gupta. She is very professional, takes the time to understand my problem. I have been to her thrice over 5 years and each time, with a different problem. She explained each procedure, explained after-care and was very responsive when I called her 3 days after my last Thermage procedure. I am very happy with the results. I have been to two other doctors for my last problem and they were more expensive, and more rushed in their approach. Hence, I chose Dr. Gupta again. My sister and mother are also her patients and she has taken excellent care of them. We recommend her as a family! I went to Dr Gupta for a facial skin problem I had. She did a very thorough assessment and gave me professional advice. She told me the pros and cons of the procedures which could help me. She listened to my concerns and gave me all the information to make up my mind. I am really glad I came to her as she fixed my problem with excellent results. I WAS EXTREMELY HAPPY WITH MY CONSULTATION WITH DR. GUPTA CONCERNING BOTOX INJECTIONS. DR. GUPTA IS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND EXPLAINED THOROUGHLY WHY I NEEDED TO HAVE MORE THAN ONE ZONE INJECTED WITH BOTOX IN ORDER TO ACHIEVE THE DESIRED RESULTS.
