Old school, right near Santa Anita and a great place to eat dinner! If you have a special occasion or on a date or even looking for a great meal, try it out. The food is great and the service is attentive. The servers are very familiar with the wines and can recommend a good one for any budget. Steaks work, seafood is good and dessert is a great addition. Excellent Steakhouse! 7/20/2005

Wow! I lived in the Omaha area for around 20 years and have been to many fantastic steakhouses (a multitude of them there). After visiting this one, I think I would have to rate it as one of the top (perhaps #1) I have ever visited. The filet mignon I ordered was prepared to perfection. Exceptionally tender! When I tried a few bites of the halibut that a close friend ordered, I was also amazed at how good it was, too! Without a doubt the best halibut I have ever tasted. Try this restaurant. I'm already looking forward to my next visit. Pros: excellent service, very tender filet more

Superb atmosphere, owner Chip Sturnioli gives the royal treatment. If you are looking to take your wife or loved one somewhere where she will feel like a princess than this is the place. Their steaks are amazing. The wrap around leather seating is luxurious and the service is 5 star. Been to a few restaurants on important dates and been very dissapointed, not a The Derby.
