Dental Options - Aventura

The dentist I saw there either did not know the difference between zirconia and metal-porcelain crowns or did not feel that he needed to tell me when I asked. (He said the only difference was cosmetic.) He also never told me that they are not commonly used for molars. He bent by glasses by digging the heel of his palm into them when working on my tooth, which led me to believe that he was inexperienced. He never returned calls about a problem with the crown he put in,. \r \r Why they would include someone like this in the practice is beyond me. At best he might ignorant and overworked. At worst he might be irresponsible. Either way, a good dental practice would not keep him.\r \r I upgraded my insurance so I would not have to go back ever again..\r \r more

Great experience. Doctor Rojas is very gentle and her assistant is very good. The front desk staff was very helpful in setting up my appointments on Saturday and was very diligent in getting the pre-authorization I needed from my dental insurance. \r I'm very happy with my new smile, thanks to all in Aventura office, I'm recommending you to my friends. more

This place has the WORST customer service I have ever seen "" the ladies at the front desk treat you without respect"" When you call to make an appointment or ask a question the girl called "" Stephany"" is always rude and without manners. I had my wisdom teeth extractions scheduled for August but I decided to cancel it. If I could put in this rating 0 stars I would use it! This was at the Dental options North Miami. But the one in Aventura is the same thing. more

Great experience! I had a root canal done and a crown. Everything was painless. Very clean place and nice doctors. Would recommend this office to anyone. more

I've recommended lots of friends to this dental office and they are all very happy here. The staff is very professional and nice and makes you feel comfortable.\r The dental assistant was amazing, very gentle and caring, the best chairside maaner I have experienced in any office in a very long time. I hope to see her again in the future. more

My son needed braces...everything seemed ok at first- friendly orthodontist, extended hours. When there was a billing issue because of a lost card I had to go into the office to deal with the problem as they automatically tacked on an extra $100. even though I had called in and given them payment and the information for the replacement card the month before. This is when it got REALLY strange. I went to the office. Some crazy whacko person became extremely defensive when pointed out the billing mistake. I asked why there was a late fee if it was on automatic payment? She refused to give me the name of her supervisor. She said her boss was Dental Options, I asked for a phone number to speak with the accountant, she refused. She was beyond rude, I'm thinking some type of disorder that does not make her well suited to deal with the public. I felt terrible, I pay a lot for those braces. She is ruining the office for everyone that works there. I wish I could leave because I do not wish to have that type of ugliness in my life. I have a theory on how long you have to wear braces- probably just as long as it takes to pay for them! I do not know if they are doing a good job. I know it is not as easy to schedule appointments as it was when we first started. I never go up anymore because of the mean crazy scary lady-AND I'm paying them! I just send my son and cross my fingers He's a teen. I wish I had an option to leave and still get my son taken care of. My other children will definitely not go there. I'll let you know how the teeth come out. more

My experience with Dr. Gordon at this office was great. She was very gentle and explained in details the dental work done. Also, the staff at this office is very friendly, nice environment overall. I will recommend this dentist and this office to my friends. more

One of the things that convinced me to have my treatments done at dental options was the fact that they had a specialist for everything i needed. I didn't have to fill out teadious referral forms and drive around miami stopping at different locations to complete my treatment. From the second I walked into the office I felt that they truly cared about me and offered me the best service possible. I would definitly recommend dental options to my family and friends! \r more

Horrible dentist in my experience. I went in 2009 for a check and cleaning, with no known issues or pain. Dr. Gordon recommended I replace an old filling with a crown even though I had no new cavities in my mouth. My mistake was that I allowed her to do so. I've not been able to eat properly on that side of my mouth since then.\r \r When I went back to complain of severe sensitivity and pain, she was defensive and dismissive and didn't do anything to help me. I refused to see her again, but did go to other dentists in her office to try to fix whatever had been done (still at my expense of course). I ended up spending over $1000 of money out of pocket after my insurance, and I still can't eat properly on one side of my mouth today.\r \r I've never in my life had bad dentistry, so this was an unfortunate first. I would never recommend this office or Dr. Gordon to anyone. I wouldn't go back there again even if they offered to fix it for free (right, when pigs fly :-) more
